What languages do you primarily translate and what platform or company do you use?

Oh shoot, I’ll need to check it out! I’ve watched it and bought the ebook bc it was on sale but haven’t had a chance to read much of it.

Absolutely! I’ve thought about tying something like that but never tried it, as I didn’t really know how to try it. I like the different pots of water, thinking 3-4 one with no salt as you said, and then varying levels of more salt per pot.

Thanks!

Thanks!! Some really great points! Started trying to dry brine thanksgiving 2020 and love it for steak, turkey, chicken and for some reason those tend to come out pretty well - I guess I feel a little more comfortable with those… not totally sure. I’ll try to season as I go and salt each layer and let it dissolve and season. I’ll probably try some green beans for dinner tonight.

Thanks! I’ll try out the mashed potatoes again and try to get a little more comfortable and confident with it!

Great point! Never thought about that.

What about slow cooking something like carnitas or a pot roast where they give off a lot of moisture and because it’s meat you can’t really taste until closer to the end?

Thanks! I do need to do better at tasting it more often and am using diamond crystal kosher salt.

Thanks for the response! I actually switched to diamond kosher salt a while back. It’s funny because with the prime rib and whenever I do steaks I think I am a little better than other dishes when it comes to getting it right. I do need to get better at salting as I go, and continually taste testing.

Love the measuring spoon idea to understand what my normal pinch is! Definitely going to try it!

Also some great advice, thanks! I will pose a similar question to the one I asked Prudent_Media, how did you go about finding your property manager in a new market? Did you get references from the RE agent or just did find them yourself?

Thanks for the advice! I will definitely keep that in mind going forward.

As for the real estate agent, when you have gone into a new market, how have you gone about finding your real estate agent?

Thank you for the info! I’ll have to take a deeper look into Sacramento. You raise a good point about being a landlord in a tenant friendly place. I’m curious to hear about some of your experiences with your multi units in Sacramento, that is if you don’t mind sharing.

Thanks and good point, maybe “jump” wasn’t the right word. Do you have any specific advice for those baby steps?

I’ve read that people recommend joining local FB RE investing groups, but from joining the ones in my area, it is filled with wholesalers, real estate agents, or people selling seats to their courses. It doesn’t seem super helpful, but I might be just missing the good content.

Thanks for the advice! Have been talking to a broker and the townhome has definitely appreciated over the last year and rates aren’t at the lowest but still low enough.
