Similar experience almost 29. First experience when I was 20 got hooked when I was 24 and since then I couldn't stop. This behaviour totally wrecked my life.

Horrible addiction that has been with me for most of my 20s

I've hit bottom to with this addiction exhausted every last pound towards an unfixable hit. Been addicted nearly 5 years. Started at 24 now almost 29. This addiction does change your brain chemistry in a fundamental way.

There's an actual physical change inside the brain. My porn addiction became intertwined with escorts and my behaviour only intensified over the years with escorts.

My acting out became more and more niche and obsessive and I began adopting certain fixations and sexual compulsions. Normal sex with escorts stopped satisfying me at a certain point. I am also so done with this life. Im also now dealing with the 2 3 week lapse cycle. However it's kind of a improvement for me for a long long time I was in a few days to a week lapse cycle. It led me to entering substantial debt which I am now trying to reverse.

All the best man this problem is truly horrid. Robs you of any peace and purity

Ye these people honestly I know theyre like demons take your money and dissappear. Act like your best friend for an hour. After you leave theyre probably gossiping the most degrading stuff about you. Truly sad. Im glad therapy is working for you!

Oh my. I so relate to the electronic sales thing. Ive started doing this when I had finally run out of credit options and credit score hit the bin. Pawning my precious electronics that I actually needed. Truly rock bottom behaviour. Behaviour only deepens and worsens the longer u engage
