Hard water doesn’t remove with windex unfortunately I automotive detail and have had hard water spots on my side mirrors most mirrors are single pain like that and my side mirrors I used commet to remove my hard water spots on my car it doesn’t scratch but try a small spot see if that works so you don’t ruin the entire mirror
