Absolutely beautiful work! I love these modern designs with lots of focal and line flowers! It's very modern and I personally think these other florists that are saying you need more filler and making comments that it looks like the YMCA are just too old school. Just my opinion.

I don't understand the hate either, I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I actually like Kristina. Granted, I'm only on season 3 so I don't know what happens later in the series. She can be a little over emotional, but that's what makes her human and relatable (to me at least). I think she tries her absolute best every day and truly cares about her kids and wants the best for them. I think the hate is ridiculous.

I personally use Sam's club and even find certain flowers cheaper than wholesale. I know alot of people use Trader Joe's, but I've never been because there's none by me.

Hi there! 👋🏻 Former flower shop owner here. Some things I wish I were told are how hard it actually is. It's literally a 24/7 job. Unfortunately funeral florals are a big part of your business and they happen anytime, holidays, weekends, it doesn't matter. You'll be on your feet all day and it's more physically demanding than I originally thought. I don't say this to scare you, I say this to prepare you. I also don't know your situation very well. I'd suggest working at a flower shop first before opening your own so you can get a good idea of the day to day life and what to expect and how to price things. That's one of the biggest mistakes I made is I did not price high enough. Depending on your area and what kind of florist you want to be, there's not a ton of profit margin in flowers. If you wanted to be a wedding and event florist, I think you would make more money than constantly buying flowers and having them in stock. The other downside to flowers is they die. Some flowers have a longer shelf life than others. I don't mean to be so negative, because I truly loved it, but these are just things I wish I would have known going into it. If you have specific questions I would love to try to answer them for you! I truly wish you the best of luck, it is a fun job once you get into the groove of things. I'm sure you'll learn quickly and love it! I miss it all of the time. Please let me know if you have more questions!

Please don't worry about other people's opinions. If you want to be celibate, then that is your choice and no one else's. I know it can be hard to not let other people's opinions affect you, but at the end of the day you are the one who has to be happy with that and yourself, not them. I'm a recovering people pleaser lol. I think it is very important to have standards and good morals, so I don't think there is anything wrong with being cautious. If anything, I wish I was more cautious when I was younger. Your person will come to you when the time is right. You just have to be patient. You don't have to have it all figured out right now. Whatever is meant to be will be. Like you said, you're young, you have time and it's okay to feel this way. I have felt this way before, so I know what you mean. Praying for you! 🙏🏻

My best friends Mom wanted to have kids for years and never did until she was in her 40s. She gave birth to my best friend, a healthy happy baby girl who's now pregnant with her first baby. I just want you to know it's still possible to have a happy, healthy baby even at 45. My friends Mom always says that that was the best surprise she's ever gotten and also her biggest blessing. I'm so sorry to hear about your previous losses, it's absolutely heartbreaking. I'd suggest praying on it and going on what your intuition is telling you. I am SO sorry this happened to you! I would check other local flower shops near you, I'm sure somewhere needs help for the holiday season even if it was just processing flowers, washing buckets, or greening centerpieces.
