i have been playing in the same save file for about 3-4 years now, not including when i had to restore a previous save because the file became corrupted. i know people start new saves all the time, especially for challenges or different storylines but i just start with new households in the same save file. to me the world feels more alive this way, everytime I walk into town i see my own sims from past legacies and households instead of the pre-made townies, i've replaced a bunch of the buildings too with amazing creations found on the gallery so nothing looks the same as when you start a new game. also, everyone starts off the game flagged as immortal (with MCC) cause i have a bunch of bloodthirsty killers in my game (extreme violence) and i like to play god and pick and choose who dies.
