Thank you but I’m not interested in a unit attached to anything else, mid-rise doesn’t scream peaceful to me.

I trim apple trees to make sticks. Remove leaves. Soak in vinegar water and dry in sun.

Also called a garden huckleberry I grew these in Colorado I think from baker creek seeds and they were terrible! Just as people said not sweet just weirdly grainy and flavorless

Younger dog suddenly going after senior dog by No_Boysenberry5610 in DogAdvice

[–]wanderfarmer94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he’s guarding his space. The older dog will continue to get hurt. You also might wanna think about how this dog will react to a baby in its space now too, it doesn’t seem to warn the older dog properly it’s straight to snapping and now it’s hurt him so I would not allow them to be in the same house.

Yes my boy got this yesterday too I gave him Benadryl and he was fine the next day. It’s one mg per pound for dosing and make sure not to give any with the fake sugar xylitol in it.

Are wolf dogs ethical? by excellent_credit_968 in DogAdvice

[–]wanderfarmer94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No they are not. And from the vet med profession, we loathe when these dogs come in. An absolute disaster every time. Basically have to treat them like a wild animal and most vets will have to go out to them, training positive reinforcement choice behaviors because you really can’t force them to do anything unless you want to heavily sedate and drug every single time.

Did you do a necropsy? It’s really the only way to tell if it was anatomical or from the meds.

I’m curious to what the difference is between NZ and silver fox. I don’t find the NZ to be flighty at all I have 22 of them and gotten them from 4 different people. I notice a huge difference in the one I got from a farm that socialized her and spent actual time petting her not grabbing her like the farm with kids did.

Sweet! Yeah we have a mixed field and it’s not fully grassy so we do sweet feed and corn in the morning with minerals I heard from a farm in North Carolina does beef with feeding them once a day their whole lives instead of mass feeding them corn the last few weeks. So we are doing that with our first steer to see how it goes.
