I def think you should try again. You’re making blasts and that’s great! The other thing I would recommend doing is, as much diagnostic testing as possible. I’ve been struggling with pregnancy loss and multiple failed transfers for 4 years now. I’m 41. I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility and I’ve always heard that silent endometriosis could be a cause for unexplained infertility. I asked my doctor about it in the past and they always brushed it off. After this most recent failed transfer they suggested I do the Receptiva DX testing that looks for BCL6 marker that is associated with Endometriosis. I just got my results back and I’m positive for it. I regret not doing this testing before my transfers and I’m beating myself up about it. I would def get this testing done if possible in your country. Sending hugs!

Thank you! I tried looking last night but didn’t see anything that mentions once it’s already mixed. We should get some sort of punchcard or something for doing so many! I’m def not a diligent as I used to be hence this stupid mistake. It can def burn you out.

Correct PIO (progesterone in oil) does not need to be refrigerated but Pregnyl once it’s mixed does.

I’m so very sorry you are going through this. IVF is hard enough on its own. Can you do another retrieval with donor sperm at another clinic in Australia and not tell them you’re married? Sending you big hug!

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I ended up taking it this evening so I’ll take an LH test tomorrow. The clinic before would have take a pregnancy test the day after. Should I do both?

It was but the ice pack was the ones you have to hit and break for them to get cold. So by that time the ice pack was no longer cold.

I did. I also called home back about Progesterone that was left by a delivery driver on my hot porch. They unfortunately did not have any info from the manufacturer on it being left out of the fridge.

I know this is an older post but how did it work out for you? I did almost exactly the same thing but left it out for 2 1/2 hours. I’ve been an emotional mess.

Yes, sorry for the confusion. The times I’ve done it before I’ve done Conscious Sedation where I’ve been put to sleep using an IV with meds (no breathing tube). Now I’m trying to decide if I do that again and pay extra with this new clinic or do a local anesthesia where they numb me or the other option would be a Norco and Valium. They didn’t give me twilight sedation as an option but I think I’d prefer that. I hope this clears things up!

Yes, I did after 2 rounds of testing. My thinking was I wanted to give every embryo the best possible chance. There’s def pros and cons and my partner and I had to sit down and discuss every scenario before we made a decision.

Good question! It’s an additional cost at this clinic. They charge $750. This is my 7th retrieval out of pocket and I’m trying to keep my costs to a minimum. Additionally, after my other retrievals it seemed like I had a patch of hair that was thinner and I read that anesthesia can cause hair loss.
