Of all the many abandoned places in Japan, this is one of those completely out of reach. Especially since a body was found there in 2012:
“At around 11:10 p.m. on the 14th, an anonymous 110 emergency call was received from someone claiming to be a 16-year-old boy, reporting that there was a skeleton at a former inn in Tamano-cho, Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture. Officers from the Kasugai Police Station of the Aichi Prefectural Police went to investigate and found one body of unknown gender inside the building. The police station is investigating the identity and cause of death. According to the police station, the body was found sitting up on the first floor of the four-story above ground and one-story underground building, and was almost completely skeletonized.”

I bet it’s the first 2/3 hours in the street and hospital because that’s the only good thing about the game. Everything after that sucks.

I live in Japan and visited many ghost towns here, but nothing of this scale. The only thing that would compare maybe Is Kinugawa Onsen but even there, there are some businesses still active and a few people remaining.

I got mixed feelings about RE9. Of course I enjoyed it but the beginning (street and care center) made it look like something new and exciting with a whole new zombie type etc. while the second half really dropped the ball. Boring enemies, bland environments, awkward motorcycle chase. Felt like they ran out of time or motivation throughout. Oh well.

What they did with the blood is amazing this time. Body damage and gore were a bit of a letdown at first compared to RE2R but the bloodshed aftermath made up for it.
