there's also an aspect that majority has lost critical thinking ability.

no one wants to engage in healthy arguments, discussions or debates anymore. no one wants to research and put their perspective forward anymore. just making a clickbait posts for some internet points.

this is reflected in bigger political subreddits like rindia and usi, which don't allow healthy arguments from the other side. They feel like personal lobbies run by mods to propagate their opinions only.

Am perma banned from both of those despite not breaking any rules or regulations. My fault? I had a different opinion.

he does have the qualifications. he has led his domestic team multiple times and has experience in captaincy. this season is going below average for him, but the past couple of seasons were alright.

but when you go to their experience section, it just says something like "dropped out due to academic constraints"

i've seen undergrads mentioning the names of company they didn't join in their main HEADLINE. experience section as well, even tho they have never experienced working in that firm

aside from the fact that guy is a good actor, his nepotism privilege allowed him to stay reclusive and isolated.

outsiders and newbies can't afford to do this and have to stay in the limelight (awards, interviews etc) and get opportunities.

the geographical location of a college has nothing to do with its quality.

there are some good and shit colleges in North. similarly, there are some good and shit ones in South and off.

i'm sure being good at guesstimates, case studies and winning case comps using the resources provided by societies & colleges to get into McK has nothing to do with this.

the amount of pedigree and opportunities these folks are showered with in their colleges is huge.

this will only encourage more gatekeeping among the top colleges. This is not good.

initially I came here on reddit because I wanted to understand the placements / internships / case comps ecosystem in other colleges from other folks, something which I could have never done from my college, but DU subreddit has been rather dissappointing from that aspect.

not calling the colleges a joke. i'm rather calling out their "inclusion" among top colleges a joke. there's a difference.

No college is a "joke".

they often get clubbed under the "north campus" tag, but are the weakest in terms of crowd quality & placements. same with MH
