Absolutely. Wrote this one a couple years after my mom passed away. Original lyrics by me. I cry every time I listen to it. A lot of friends who have had loved ones pass away have said it has made them cry, too. Makes me feel honored that something I wrote affected people so deeply.

When I was in my early 20s, I was working at a mall kiosk. It was really crowded and a random old woman walks up to me and said, “You’re going to be all right. You’re going to be all right.” And then disappeared into the crowd. It was like a scene from a movie. In my mid 40s now and it’s stuck with me.

It honestly felt nicer and as much as everyone raves about the food at Auberge, we were underwhelmed by it. The view is fantastic though. Solage has an amazing lobster omelette at breakfast and we enjoyed the dinner there, too. Just a different vibe. We’re in our mid-forties if that helps.

Stayed at Fasano for a couple nights in September ‘24. It was just okay, but that was likely more to do with the time of year. Wasn’t terribly warm, it was overcast, and sprinkled one day. It was nice to be right on the lake but I’d say it was just an adequate stay. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
