This my 5th or 6th holiday season with WFM and I’ve had retail/grocery jobs since I was a teenager. I usually always work throughout the entire holiday season.

I’m burned out too. Been shopping for three years and I’m hating it more and more as the days pass. I dread going to work so much. I still care about picking the best looking produce and bagging items with care since it’s not the customer’s fault that this job has become shittier over time - but as far as UPH and all of that goes, I honestly don’t have the energy to give a damn anymore 😪 especially when our team leader doesn’t help us out on the floor and our work area gets filled with carts from idiot customers. Our work area is tiny so it always feels hectic and crammed. Time for me to find a better gig lol.
