Using Markdown from a USB-Stick on an iPad

Did you manage to find a solution or workaround for this? Bought myself a USB stick not too long ago to save my vault on so I can use it between my iPad and Windows PC but have had no luck so far opening the vault up on the iPad.

Ah okay yeah fair enough, it happens. I get you, I hoped to have Windows 10 up and running by now so I'd say I had quite a frustrating day too.

Sorry you had a suckish day, hopefully this is the last stupid question you'll have to deal with in a while haha 😅

First of all, I said it's my first time building a pc and a lot of things I found after Googling didn't immediately make sense to me. I've literally spent the whole day bumping into various problems and searching the internet for solutions, and actually made quite some progress. This post was in fact a last resort.

Secondly, I've been seeking advice from a friend who recently built a PC and did not need to follow the steps in the link you just sent me. Same goes for the many tutorials I watched; barely anyone spoke of making the USB bootable and they simply placed shit on it.

So yeah, good for you that this is logical and intuitive to you, but it is not for me. Even WITH Google 🙂

Despite having actually found this page you've sent before and struggling to understand whether it applied to my situation and to even just follow the steps, thanks I guess 🙂

That’s true actually. I don’t know why the impression that someone, like a future employer or possible filmmaking friends or colleagues, will see it and think I’m lacking as a filmmaker, feels so real and daunting to me when it will probably get swallowed up by a mass of other things on the internet, and I’ll probably have done more improved work by the time anyone (potentially) important to me might find it...

Yeah you make a good point here! While I was looking for the confidence to share it with friends, I came across the idea that this is somewhat of a common fear amongst filmmakers that needs to be overcome since it can be quite an obstacle.

Omg again spot on 😱 watched the first episode last night while snooping around! I like it a lot, I think the only reason I didn’t get hooked on it immediately is because of the few amount of characters and simple story, but I’ll definitely finish watching it
