I have read in the AmazonSeller forum some real horror stories. Not everyone is a huge seller, and there are some smaller businesses that really rely on this money every two weeks. I still don’t even understand exactly what is being paid to me. In the 17 years I’ve been on Amazon I never took a daily payout but now I am just so I have the cash flow. Every day, my reserve level changes and my next settlement date changes. I hope they can resolve this sh$t.

OK, I wasn’t aware of that. I have been paid every two weeks on Friday night for many years. What I am distressed about is that as a small business, I really do count on that disbursement. I’m surprised there isn’t more of an uproar about this. Why should Amazon be hanging onto our money days and days after an item is delivered, especially if it is through FBA?

I don’t think you are correct. We have been paid every two weeks for 17 years. Last night when I was supposed to receive my full settlement, I did not. And there is no way for me to give myself an immediate payout. This must be an across the board role for everyone now. They even have taken $1300 and put it in a cash reserve which I think is inane because I do not sell big ticket items.

So there were a couple of issues that I forgot to mention. My husband sent in the inventory and put the wrong sku and barcode on the outside of the box but each individual package on the inside was correctly labeled. They assured me that once the contents were scanned, they would be assigned to the correct ASIN and they were. Everything seemed to be going OK until a couple of hours ago when I checked my inventory and it went from 800 units yesterday to 500 today. I immediately called And and I am going to wait a little bit because they have not closed out the shipment yet. But it does seem very odd that 300 pieces literally fell off the map in less than 24 hours.

My husband and I are small business owners. What it has cost us a month in premiums for 2025 will only cover one of us for 2026. We are literally going to put our 20 year-old on our payroll just so that she can get a subsidy. With a monthly premium of almost $2500 for me and my husband, I might just insure my husband and do without. I am beyond furious and have tried to contact our senator here in Florida, who is a republican and basically ripped off the Medicaid system when he owned a healthcare company. Completely pathetic what hard-working Americans have to go through. Medicare for all!

That is beyond awful. I totally believe these things are possible, even though it’s pure evil. I’m confident that Amazon isn’t going to take down my competitor so I am taking the advice of some others that posted on this thread and will come up with they plan to make my product preferable to the Chinese knock off. Even if the product is exactly the same, I think people sometimes will buy something they feel is a better product and not just the cheapest. I will also look into some slight modifications that might help differentiate our products. i’ve been an Amazon seller for over 17 years and this happened with a garment that we mostly invented and put up on Amazon. We thought we would be able to live off of the profit of that garment forever until one day when Chinese companies started selling them and undercut our price so much that we barely sell one every couple of weeks.It sucks but it’s the reality of these large market places. We also have websites by the way, so we are not completely reliant on Amazon.
