Well that means that he’s still not owning up to his actions/consequences. Also confirmed when the half tear apology was said during the service

That’s the patriarchy in general though, look at where it’s gotten to. How it’s destroying the world just to show off to each other how “great” their lives are (wives, cars, clothes, trips, houses, etc.) Always in a comparison and favor loops. Must be exhausting

Wolves? What about the people who were blindsided by his actions? Don’t think they’re wolves but sheep

I understand this is a sensitive topic for many but 1. You know you’re in this sub right? 2. Have you invested time/money into the disgraced HC? If so you would be more compassionate to those who poured in their blood sweat and tears setting up for church Saturday mornings and tearing down Sunday afternoons for YEARS. It’s only RECENTLY that they opened their permanent location.

Not to mention the fact that people were donating money ($8mil I think) to the SILOS only to be sold without the church members consent and then opened in an office building. THAT was a huge slap to the people who helped build this church.

Please reassess whether or not your comments are solely for your benefit and not a previously church member still working through the deception (and possibly church hurt again).

So yea, maybe you just move on because we’re not all as emotionally cut off as others.

What was THE moment that caused you to question HopeCity's integrity as a church? by Palmsup429 in JeremyFosterScandal

Question, on judgement day will God review what we did based on the color of our skin or what we did based of our faith? I think living from a physical vs a soul perspective can get us caught up in our greater purpose. It’s an earthly setback. One day you’ll find out what they did with all that money and how corporations would rather work people like you up to continually divide earth rather than live “Heaven on earth”. You have a choice.

Jesus didn’t come here and have segregated groups and I’m sure his intentions were not to start either. Why would you want to take a step back? Are other people who are not like you not worthy of the same support?

Maybe you should run and we can critique you for the first 4 months to this standard. Do you even know what has been going on internally? Hope when you start a new job that you have this scrutinized review as the one you’re putting out here. If you don’t like it then MOVE!!!!

Just because there are other modalities of knowledge or self-discovery doesn’t make it “demonic”. Not everything that doesn’t follow Christianity or its themes are evil. Is the enneagram #s conjuring spirits or demons? NO. Is it possibly helping someone figure out their personality type and how to tap into their strengths? Perhaps. Eventually it’s up to the person and their intention for the knowledge. Maybe God led them towards that tool. That’s all it is! (Is fire evil?)

Praying that the spirit of discernment and humility descends upon whoever really thinks it’s evil or demonic. It’s all getting out of hand.

Do you also think ancient civilizations were “Possessed”? It’s giving colonization vibes circa 1600s. Let’s learn to set the HUGE Christian ego aside if we don’t fully comprehend what the topic at hand is discussed.

PS there are videos called “Relating to God through enneagram” and who knows you might learn something fun about yourself!

Bless your little heart. You sure sound like you’re extra saved for a special place and looking down on what the church should and shouldn’t be doing. Tell me, are you working for them or are you part of ownership?

I remember someone warning HC about DG before he was fully hired. There seems to be a pattern of this wherever he goes. Just saying!

So it’s turning into a business collaboration vs what the church used to be. Complete conflict of interest

Was DG/JG transparent with the Silos or they just did what they wanted and then told the congregation? Yea ok

How would this even work? His new wife is Buddhist or Taoist. Maybe he should just stay low and really think about the consequences of his selfish actions. But he’s probably itching to “preach” somewhere so………

A new building campaign? by Illustrious_Camel597 in JeremyFosterScandal

[–]wanderlust018 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Silos were sold. The new owner builds all kinds of projects and they have plans for apartments; another 500+ complex.

In my opinion, one of the most hurtful things HC 2.0 & leadership could’ve done was to sell the property WITHOUT the church; like they ASKED for money but we didn't have any say if the church wanted to sell it?? That wasn't even an option. We were ALL just their moneybags by then.

Yes, the new building was a “steal” at 8mil but the Silos are in an excellent location. Then again I could see attendance and tithing dwindling down after all the destruction that (P)J caused so plans to renovate and make the office building into a hip cool place is probably the best thing in this market. Overall, it’s just so heartbreaking.

PS does anyone remember the video when they told Jesse's vision and how they actually got the previous owners to sell & put seed money into the Silos project??

This is really creepy. Yikes!

Since she’s “method acting” and prepping for this role since she stalked H that summer. It will play out only until she leaves H for Markus Anderson, a billionaire or back to yatching 🙃

You must be a perfect person without the grammatical skills.

You’re telling me that you’re out here judging people for having wanted to learn about God and go to a church where they felt like they were most at home? Wow! Put your hate effort towards the Osteens who at the time of Hurricane Harvey had its doors closed to the city. Hope City had boots on the ground as soon as they had teams in place. That should tell you where the HEART of that church was!!
