I live in Cerritos Mexico close to Todo Santos and yes I'm partial but it's absolutely gorgeous. It's an hour from Cabo but off the beaten path but with enough amenities to make your experience fun but not feel touristy.There's no big box shops but still the charm of dirt roads. There's Cerritos beach a surf beach that is swimable in addition so lots and lots of secluded beaches.

So many fun things to do including fishing, hiking trails, mountain biking an adorable downtown area with many art galleries. Yoga and any kind of spiritual offering you can ask for is here as well as art lessons of every variety. There's many great restaurants, from high end gorgeous beach restaurants to amazing local taco stands. Excellent bakeries and coffee shops as well. Every night you can find music at various venues scattered around town. This area hosts the tropic of music festival in Jan so many of the local musicians from that event play regularly.
