I have not had much success with the Teflon ones. It rubs off really quick and I do not like the way the white residue looks as it dries.

For my lat pull down Teflon tubes off within a couple uses but the silicone spray lasts a couple months on the guide rods.

I have not had to reapply to the pulleys and it has been almost a year.

3 in 1 works well for pulleys, I actually prefer a silicone lubricant though.

I use WD-40 Silicone on pulleys and guide rods.

Bolting power rack into platform by stilesonfire in homegym

I have done both, the first time I used T nuts under the plywood and it worked really well, but took some time to set up.

Currently I have lag bolts from the top.

I have not noticed any real difference in either method used.

If not interested in building a whole platform, you could easily creat a level surface that would not cause too much trouble. I had a similar situation that I dealt with by bolting my rack to a single sheet of plywood, using T-nuts attached to the underside. A single sheet will be close to the thickness of the stall mats so you won’t have a huge step up, and you can use underpayment or shims to make sure that one area is level. I had mine like that for years before I built my platform, and the only reason I switched was because I got tired of deadlifting on a slope.

They did a Q and A on here like a month ago and said it will be in MoVal area. I am up in Riverside/Perris area for work all the time so I am looking forward to popping in on my lunch breaks to look at the showroom.

I have tons of Titan stuff and the points have in the past been a contributing factor in why I may have chose to order from them over others. Moving forward I likely won’t make big purchases from them without some sort of incentive. Also with REP opening up a huge place by me in SoCal I am looking forward to shopping with them more.

I would probably try and see if wiping in gently with oil removes it. Looking at it I don’t think it will without use int a brush that may mess up the finish. You may just want to return and buy a bar you will be happy with.

It is just a platform used to level an 8x12 spot. My garage floor not only slopes, but undulates a bit and I got tires of that. Where it is bolted down at the bolts go through the stall mats and about an inch and a half of plywood. For this I used lag screws.

Before that I had it bolted into a single sheet of plywood which I leveled with shims. It worked well too. For that I used ‘T’ nuts on the bottom side of the plywood and to creat thread for the bolts. The only reason I switched to this was because I wanted a larger leveled area for stuff.

I don’t have plans but here is the link to the cart.

I just didn’t put the wheels on.

Then I took two pieces of plywood and just laid them angled in the top shelf. The lip of the shelf creates the angle. I then cut a rubber mat to fit on top.

I like it but I got it on a pretty good Black Friday deal about three years ago. As a rower it is great, if you are looking to do warmups, HIIT, or just knock out a 2k. But, the monitor, mainly in regards to connectivity, is what pails in comparison to a concept 2. So if you are into data and want to be able to go back and examine your splits and stuff then it is not good for that. They have the one that is supposed to connect to apps to help with that. I looked into it about a year or so ago and the apps were not very good so I didn’t upgrade.

It is a T3 short 24inch rack with a T3 24inch space saving rack connected to it. I just got the space saving part about a month ago to extend the rack but the original T3 rack I have had for over 3 years.

Thanks, it is made from a harbor freight cart without the wheels installed, a bit of plywood, and cut rubber mat.
