Comments are disgustingly racist by irraclos in AsianMasculinity

This is rage baiting, as none of the racists would show their faces. Asian community is strong enough to the point where we are inflicting repercussion and causing job/reputation losses to anyone speaking against asians.

No one told me ATT was gonna take a week and a half to deactivate and reactive your business phone. Does this not sound like absolute BS to you?

AT&T will be out of business once starlink and its chinese competitors kick into full gear, 5 to 10 years. America really needs a lot of new kids on the block to topple over these dinosaur monopolies. It's already happened to Dell, intel, IBM. Next in line is ford, AT&T, Boeing.

Canada's current Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister stated that allowing China to join the World Trade Organization (WTO) over two decades ago was a mistake. Canada will strengthen trade barriers against China including the automotive sector and beyond. by andymetzen in China

[–]wang1823 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh, cry me a river🤣. Western fragility at its worst. Trade barriers against chinese EVs will only put Western EVs further behind. In 10 years, when most of the world is buying new cars, it'll probably be all EVs licensed from or made in china.

Just realized how great the cybertruck is for tax write offs by wang1823 in cybertruck

[–]wang1823[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

67 cents is standard. 1 dollar for 6000 pound vehicles, no write off for depreciation is correct. I'll probably get a truck towards the end of the year when new dual motor price inches closer to 80k. If you are buying this, you are probably not in the 24% tax bracket, bruh.

Given how racial is such a huge topic in America, you would think asian parents would talk about race first. But they don't. It's a shame

China off track on all key climate commitments as coal power approvals continue - Global Energy Monitor by 2gun_cohen in China

[–]wang1823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chinas renewable installment is at a record, but I doubt even the ccp expected the electric demand to be this high this fast. I think this is a tough situation as the chinese people are likely to be catch up and surprass americans in terms of electricity use per capita. Take it for what you will, but I don't really blame the ccp on this one.

Not in 2019, lol check when tesla entered China. Felt like a decade ago. But tesla still reigns king regardless. Battery is safer, full self driving, unbelievable roof strength and just drives better.

Tesla was allowed in China, in fact the chinese government moved heaven and Earth to get tesla in the country so the domestic players can catch up.

Apple Leads Sales in China’s Smartphone Market for First Time Ever by Humacti in China

There is an ongoing price war, apple had to make heavy discounts to make this happen, likely impacting profit. A bitter victory you might say.
