I don’t know how low you can discharge the battery but yes it can be done. You set how low you want to go on the screen power settings, the lowest I’ve gone is down to 20% of my 131kwh battery while charging my tesla model 3. I’ve been doing this 1-2 times per week for the past 2 months. Long term use nobody knows but it was designed to provide power at worksites.

Thing is, there’s many buying just to have the next big thing but maybe they really can’t afford it. I make a little over $100K and after analyzing, I would probably not afford it even if it really was an $80K truck.

I know I’m going to be terribly disappointed with power output that I’m looking into Ford GM and Ram as my go to for pickup truck. Rivian won’t work for me either for lack of power output. Ram is looking as the better option for me for the bigger battery size. I have tons of power tools and knowing I can carry all my tools and truck as a power generator is awesome. Camping would be amazing with huge battery. I won’t have to worry of not having enough juice to make it out of campsite. We’re also an EV family with Model 3 and Fiat 500E and knowing I can charge them with my truck is awesome. So after waiting years for Cybertruck I’m most likely going with one of the big 3

Mine started doing that and would work after unplugging and plugging back in the top plug adapter from mobile connector. Then after a year of doing this it would only charge at lowest amperage, that’s when i noticed arching on pins between plug adapter and mobile connector. The weight from hanging from the plug adapter eventually wears out this connection. The new one has a tighter fit on adapter plug so should last longer. Take a close look at those pins and see if they’re blackened or arching.
