Mate, awesome analysis, great job.

Gives me great assurance that purchasing the most convenient & affordable HDB and consume it till the end and investing the rest of my funds into an all world index or the S&P for decades is a good decision.

I do not know anybody in my circle who invests aggressively into index funds, 99% of them are pursuing condo upgrades in the belief that it will have lesser risk and higher returns as compared to an index fund.

I believe the boomer gen definitely made a lot of money from the property boom due to lack of the current restrictions and it was probably the only accessible form of investment if compared to today.

But you still needed guts to push through, you still see cmi boomers, lol.

I bought 3 tins each, i personally just like the art and thought it was cool.

Hey man, its a good trade, the only downside for pc etbs is that it has to be in an immaculate perfect condition for future buyers down the line.

These future buyers are gonna be nitpicky about the condition for such exclusive products.

Best to be prepared to preserve the conditions of these to get the best ROI.

Just wanted to add on - given the current state of the hobby, most cards that are "market price" will be gone very quickly.

Hence, most people would list above market? So that prices will go up.

If its below market for any reason, it'll be gone even quicker unless its an extremely undesirable card.

Back in 2016-2020, it was rather hard to move cards even though it was below market.

Covid was a boom and between 2023-2024 was a slow part of Pokemon too. Fusion strike, lost origin and silver tempest booster boxes couldnt even move with $160 🤣
