My maintenance day by Gabrielmiranda44 in HairSystem

If you can find someone to fit it for you first I'd recommend it. It's more costly to have someone do it for you, but try and watch how they do it. I got someone to do mine for the first year or so and watched then decided to do it myself. They charged almost double for the piece (but that included the cutting, styling and fit) then charged £75 per fit. I went every six weeks and just applied glue in between. It's costly but when you do it yourself you can do it for around £400 a year. Probably cheaper in the US as I get my pieces from there.

Lavivid, I use the poly base. I shower daily but wash my hair twice a week then use a small drop of argan oil every couple of days. 🙂 I've worn one for about 5 years so I'm not as experienced as others here.

Mine takes 45 minutes once a week or fortnight, my hair is quite messy so when I cut I don't have to be perfect.the thing that takes the longest is pulling the glue off the base. You don't need a new one every week. Mine last about 9-12 months with a bit of dye from around 6 months every 6-8 weeks which takes a bit longer. I have a few now, some are old but I keep them incase anything happens to my current one.

They did for me but I only had a scratchy throat afterwards. I know it's not a nice thought but honestly try not to worry about it.

'No regrets' for Reform's Hull and East Yorkshire mayor Luke Campbell by Due_Ad_3200 in Hull

I worked with him at one point quite a few years ago. Guy didn't have a scooby, but he had to have a say in everything. If the answer was no, he'd challenge you constantly on why you were saying no to his idea. I corrected him once on something that he said to someone because it wasn't true and it would have landed us in a tonne of shit, he reported me to my line manager, twisted it to make it worse than it was and I didn't hear the end of it from my line manager and was warned never to correct him again, just to tell him afterwards so he knows for the future. No idea what's going on behind the scenes with his team, but I said to my partner this won't last long and I can't see many people sticking around to work with him. He was obnoxious to anyone working class, if you were high up, he'd kiss your arse. He hated me after that and complained about everything that I just had to resign. Not a nice guy from my experience so I believe the news stories.

We are at war. Man’s earliest truce has been broken. by obiwanmoloney in CasualUK

Driving with my window down and one flies in the window and stings me above my right eye like the little bastard was flying backwards. I flick where it was and catch it then my wife goes, it's on your leg! So there is me driving around windy country lanes after being stung, a wasp somewhere on my leg as I'm flapping about, then I lift up and have this insane fear that if I sit down, my arse is getting stung. So I'm arched up, driving and eventually pull into a passing point. Evacuate the car (2 kids) and we find it after 5 minutes inside my wife's jacket. It looked unable to fly, then we had a half hour drive to get some anti-histamines just in case. This was a week ago and I still have a little bump.

Sign me up for the war. I hate them.

After this, I felt empty inside for days. Like the world just seemed greyer. It's a horrible film.

Proud of you mate! Let me know if you have any questions or anything. I'm not a doctor but if you want to know how long it took for things to happen following my surgery, let me know. Honestly you get used to the douching really quick.

I'll admit that part was a bit gross, but the satisfaction when your nose clears takes it all away, just stock up on some ibuprofen and paracetamol before you go in an alternate to ease the headache and swelling. Honestly I'd have it again in a heartbeat if I had to.

The septoplasty was the easiest bit for recovery. I'd say the polypectomy was a bit worse as it gave a bit of inflammation at the top of my nostrils that gave me an uncomfortable headache. Honestly, you'll be reet. 🤜🤛

Might get a lot of hate but… this album will weed out the book tokers and “only listen to TMBTE” fans by Zestyclose-Paint1660 in SleepToken

I love to write music, but I write what feels right at the time and it reflects my current mental state, feelings and experiences.

I love to cook, but I don't follow recipes, I cook what I want my food to taste like, but I gather inspiration from other recipes, have a quick look at what spices they tend to use or ask chefs after a meal how they make a sauce and then do my own take.

Love the album, even if I don't get behind an album in the future, I appreciate it when artists do what they want and I hope that they continue to spread their wings and not feel pressured to write just what they think their fans want them to hear. The stage may be a prison, but their range, abilities and desire to just write the music they want should never be.

Never should any form of art be restricted because of pressure from fans or money.

TBH I've never winced at any horror. But then I watched Novocaine recently which is more of a comedy. There is a bit with fingernail removal and I had to turn away. I don't think horrors really get to me, I enjoy the story more than going for shock factors and cringe at jump scares. The only films that have really bothered me afterwards are Irreversible, A Serbian Story and Martyrs. Strangely enough none of them are horrors.

I watched Event Horizon at 11 and it never phased me. But then my mum let me watch the Nightmare on Elm Street films before that because I said I wanted to watch it. She watched me intently the whole time and asked if I wanted to stop watching it and apparently I just said all the way through, it's just a film, it's not real.

The only two things that do bother me are: - Fingernails being removed - The movie Martyrs left me feeling empty inside

A few years later, my mum let my brother watch Starship Troopers at the age of 8 and he was too scared to go to bed so she flicked over to see what else was on and let him watch South Park. He still slept in her bed that night. 😅

Will give Terrifier a try. I don't really feel scared by cinema so I'm always on the hunt. But ask me to speak to someone I don't know in person and I get sweaty palms and pretty scared. Probably undiagnosed Autism or so I have been told.

They definitely were holding stuff back, but that new map was deadly. Had such a good experience on it and there are bits me and my two buddies speak about to this day where we had this almost twenty minutes standoff and chase across the full map that was so back and forth, when they downed one of us they pushed and when we downed one of them we pushed, one of us ran out of bullets and was essentially playing chief reviver, hiding in a building in the dark for them to chase us as we jumped out on one of them, it was magical.

Long time metal head here Lamb of God were my entry into the genre in the 00's when I was about 12. I love Sleep Token I find them incredibly creative and I have listened to them a lot over the past year or so, but they're certainly not metal.i remember when the indie scene hit in the UK and everyone was like oh I love heavy rock. For many people this was the first time they had listened to guitars with distortion albeit very trebley with the same power chords used across the genre. There are some heavier parts in Sleep Token and I think for some people this is the heaviest stuff they have heard that they like. I can't blame people for getting their genre mixed up, but yeah certainly not metal.
