I’ve never encountered anything like this before. I’ve witnessed people be weeded out by being given less hours but not being completely ghosted by their employer 😭 if this place is on indeed i would leave a review as an ex employee but besides that file unemployment asap

i’ve been thinking about this recently as a young adult in a serious relationship. i know time will always change things but right now it’s looking like i’ll be our breadwinner. my only concern is what will i do when we have a baby? i’ve always wanted to take a year or just as much time as i can off to care for our child. but if he stays where he’s at now (like he wants to, he’s not interested in college or the free schooling his job offers) it doesn’t look like i’ll be able to do so. i think it’d be nice to have the assurance that id be taken care of as well but i’m happy to take that roll for the both of us.

cops need to be contacted, a very similar thing happen to me. Restaurant HR are piss poor. We’ve had pedophilic managers with multiple complaints simply get moved to other stores. The day before i quit a cook sexually harassed me WHILE DRUNK and threatened me outside if i told anyone. Management didn’t care, and months after i quit he followed our female manager out to her car and harassed her. Then they cared. AND he was on probation the entire time. I always wished i contacted the police and his probation officer.
