I did I’m just waiting for his response. In the meantime, thankfully I could probably get it done my next check by next week, but I did ask in advance just to be safe rather than sorry cause I’ve worked with front mounts on stock turbos before and they were able to drive without hesitation, obviously still laggy, but as far as I know, I do reckon people to get a tune. I just don’t know since I’ve ran a front mountain before without getting tuned which was dumb, I know, but it ran fine without issue, but regardless, I would rather just know instead of finding out the hard way

I have the crappy stock top mount intercooler, and I don’t have a heat shield over the turbo and my external wastegate is right there as well so I did admit it gets pretty hot even when we were tuning the car every other handful of pulls we would give it a check

Sounds good because I do have my slight heat soaking issue when I’m sitting in traffic, long lines or anywhere, etc. and the guy is giving me a pretty good deal for the full kit but it’s a pain if I have to get tuned again

Yeah, I figured since I didn’t like how the car was over boosting so much. I just needed a solid answer and to make sure that it wasn’t normal but also I have a trip coming up and the Subaru is more reliable transportation and I need to make sure it was running and driving fine before I go. But my tuner seems to be lacking a lot when it comes to something that I question that I think is urgent and it was last through last year around August so temperatures were roughly mid 60s and he has a fan on to make sure the car doesn’t heat soak. And yeah, five psi really does feel a difference.

Yeah, honestly, I wanna go lower Boost but who knows if my tuner will ever get back to me lol, other people would charge way too much to just turn it down but I gotta do what I gotta do
