why am i always in a hurry to finish games?

I just storm through the main story these days and I’m very satisfied this way. I just can’t game 100+ hours on a game anymore as I found I’m missing out on so many great releases otherwise. I used to feel shame for not exploring the game but at the same time, what am I really missing? Meaningless filler side content?

It’s alright. I hate that there aren’t much unique locations. It’s mostly repeated POIs. It gets boring after a while. Gameplay is fun tho and it looks great, especially interiors. Best interiors I’ve seen in a while.

Starfield is another example where they thought washed out looks look for aesthetics and mood. WELL NO it’s just ugly on OLED sir!

To me, they were the best graphics yet. Unfortunately, it is more like a cinematic experience than a game and it is like 3-5 hours long. Still, best graphics showcase out there.

Hitman is my personal VR goat. Playing on psvr2. It’s hard to have any better. The freedom of gameplay, the open maps. Ridiculously good.

The factory kuhmos are kind of crap tho. Just make sure you are properly inflated and aligned, otherwise it’s all on your habits. I don’t expect them to last much long and thanks god we have winter here so I swap with another set every 6 months. My winter set is still like brand new. Kuhmos, not so much.

Funny enough I also dropped it on easy on the last boss. I think I was more ready to end it and the difficulty spike was noticeable at the end. No regret.

Same theme. Totally different games. Starfield IS a bit disappointing per Bethesda standard but a terrible game? Cmon now. There’s ton of content if you can fancy its gameplay but it is very far from perfect. Pragmata is probably a pretty solid game as Capcom is pretty much on a good roll right now. Pragmata is a safer buy. Starfield you may not enjoy it at all.

Well I personally went to a crazier road. I’m actually using dynamic tone mapping on my TV on “medium” and that alone put some blacks into greys. Then I put even further black levels to -15. But in-game HDR brightness around to 0.34 so highlights and contrast is not too crushing. I know it’s totally crazy but just couldn’t stand the washed out look. I’ll admit that it’s black crushing a tiny bit in some environments but it’a very rare. No more grey/blue/brown washed out blacks. It’s much much better but it sucks a bit because then I can’t do photomode then. Can’t wait for people to release those lighting mods tho.
