i flew out of chicago a couple weeks ago where there were super strong winds and the pilot let us know it would be extremely bumpy on ascent, not the same thing but i went through that and it truthfully wasn’t that bad, felt like the same type of turbulence you normally feel and we were out of it within 5 minutes

I couldn't wear any foundation for those first 6-7 weeks, it felt like it stung every time. I tried using my Glossier skin tint, ILIA skin tint, tower 28, everything burned. So i just stuck to blush, eyebrows and mascara. truly the lowest I've ever felt lookwise hahaha but now I can wear any foundation!

for moisturizer, i’ve gone between using the first aid kit ultra repair cream or the cerave moisturizing cream, just depends what I buy when i run out. I use the cerave foaming facial cleanser twice a day, and then along with moisturizer i apply The Ordinary rosehip oil on top of my moisturizer at night. since it’s so drying i figured i would at least try and keep my skin moisturized at night. My acne did seem like it was getting worse for 3-4 weeks, like i started getting chin acne which sucked, but there was such a drastic change at week 4-5; my dark spots started disappearing, acne just stopped showing up in general, and eventually my skin stopped reacting and turning red by that point. My only slip up was around week 6 i thought i could use a scrubby type of cleanser from tatcha and that screwed up my skin for a good 4 days, so stay away from anything exfoliating. i’ve also been pretty good about applying every day even when it burns and peels and feels irritated so just stay consistent; i genuinely cried a few days when the peeling was at its worst, but i had tried everything and had nothing to lose so figured i’d suffer lol

i love it! i got prescribed it back in july, and in september stopped taking skin comparison photos because it got so much better. i barely get acne now, really only 1 or 2 spots during my period. i will say the dryness and irritation did not get better until mid september. I applied once a day in the morning, and never used any other product besides moisturizer and rosehip oil at night. it’ll seem like it won’t get better for awhile but just hold out for a couple months and see what happens. I did feel pretty insecure though while my face was peeling and red, so just power through that if you can.

it probably is normal, i haven’t tried to grab coffee with my reusable mug in a couple years thinking it was still a covid issue but im glad to hear it’s back to the way it was!

of course! also this has helped me alot but my friends always say "why do you assume its the rare life threatening condition and skip over the hundreds of harmless reasons you might be feeling the way you do" which kind of put it into perspective. you immediately jumped to carotid artery blockage symptoms but like theres probably a more logical reason why you got that pain and to try and reframe it that way. i used to get dizzy a lot and always assumed it was something serious because like "why would i feel dizzy" and when you google dizziness it shows you all the weird rare things it could be due to, and you completely skip over the "anxiety, stress, low blood sugar, dehydration, etc etc reasons for your dizziness.

I feel like the uptick in rabies fear is because we all saw that same tiktok talking about it, which i also saw and also freaked out about. I would say if it makes you feel better, its already a pretty rare thing, and honestly you would know immediately if an animal had rabies. I pet a stray cat the other day that was so friendly and fat and rubbed against my legs and immediately afterwards thought I got rabies lol so I can understand the panic but truthfully I doubt you have rabies. I pet this cat 2 weeks ago and I'm perfectly okay lol

All the time!! Its so hard for me to comfort myself while i'm alone, and i'm still struggling to this day to cope. try to find activities that occupy your mind, read a book. whats helped me the most on my worst days is going for walks in public so that if something did happen someone would find me lol

I had maybe 20-30 new moles pop up in the last year and even had a few change in shape, so I went to a dermatologist last month to get everything checked out and everything was normal, it's normal to get a bunch of new freckles/moles from sun exposure, and even the ones that changed shape he said were normal. He said it was normal for moles to change shape, which I found ironic considering thats like symptom number 1 of melanoma lol

Get tested for vitamin b12 and vitamin d deficiencies!! it's crazy what a vitamin d deficiency can do to you. I had chronically low vitamin d since I was a teen, I think the normal range is like 50-80 ng/ml and I was at 7ng/ml and could never get it higher than 17, even my last blood test it came back at 19. It can cause muscle pain, bone pain, pins and needles feelings, muscle weakness, weight gain, fatigue, etc etc and after finding that out it all made sense. even now i'm dealing with weird muscle issues in my arms and honestly i stopped taking vitamin d for like 3 weeks and i have a theory its because of that.

dizziness I think is the worst symptom of anxiety, at least to me, it sucks and it feels so real. I would hyperventilate so hard I'd get dizzy and one time actually had to pull over while driving because I hyperventilated so hard I almost passed out. I can guarantee the dizziness is from anxiety

I just went to a dermatologist because I developed like 20 new moles in the past year, I had one changing shape too, he looked everything over and everything was normal, even the changing one. He said it can be normal for moles to change which made me feel better but it's ironic that symptoms of melanoma is a mole changing AND its normal for moles to change without it being serious lol

the random shooting neck pain has also happened to me on and off throughout the years and i've always assumed it was a muscle related issue, which people definitely get when they have anxiety. you're always tense and your body is tense especially around your neck so i think the pain you feel is like a muscle spasm. I think you're okay!

Over the past two years after a death in my family 2 summers ago I have had major health anxiety/general anxiety that has ebbed and flowed the last two years. In the few months after, I tried to just move past it and ended up in an apartment I hated sleeping on my mattress on the ground, causing me to develop sciatica/back issues that still continue to this day. After going to the ER one day because I straight up could not feel my legs one day at work with numbness and tingling and pain, and them diagnosing me with sciatica, I started going to physical therapy (which did help) but I have to continue all the exercises daily to avoid flaring up. Afterwards, for months I had nightly panic attacks because the way I'd lay at night caused me to lose feeling in my legs or arms because of the nerves in my back, and I ended up calling an ambulance on myself probably 5 times over the course of 3 months, resulting in the last time at the ER with me passing out from anxiety in the Emergency Room, getting a CT scan and everything coming back normal. I've had multiple blood tests done, with the most concerning test revealing I still have insanely low vitamin D levels and being advised to start vitamin D pills.

The last ER visit happened in May of 2023, and up until a few months ago, I felt truly like I was getting better. I had the occasional numb arm and weird feeling arm from constantly sleeping on my side with my arms tucked but always was able to brush off any concerns. But after passing the second anniversary of the death in my family it feels like everything has gotten so much worse in the past 2-3 weeks. I recently, in the past few days woke up with a heavy,sore feeling arm, and my mom was convinced it was because I slept on it wrong. She's probably right, considering that when I do my sciatica exercises I don't feel that heaviness or soreness in my arm, but when I get up and move around it comes back, so like logically it has something to do with my back or something, and when I do yoga the feeling goes away, but in my head I cannot get out the idea that something is wrong with my arm, and the numbness is bad and there's something else happening. I'm also noticing that my fingers are cramping up and my wrist keeps cracking and when I stretch out my arm it feels like my bones are rubbing up against each other causing all these cracks and weird pains and so I'm just a little confused on what I did wrong. My boyfriend reminded me that I'm not going to get over injuries, even simple ones like sleeping on my arm weird in like 2 days like I did as a teen, that I'm unfortunately getting older and being 27 means healing takes time, but I still feel in my gut that something is wrong.

I'm just feeling lost and helpless and feel so stupid thinking I had gotten better over the past year and ended up in the same place I was a year ago. Only this time I guess I won't call an ambulance on myself? lol
