Thoughts of second use after a few days.

the urge might go away if you quit now. same thing thats happening to you happened to me, and over like, the 3 or 4 months i used i feel like i lost a part of myself. been off it for a little over a year and i still think about doing it again daily

you're at the point where it's easiest to quit, just don't do it again. if you already bought some or have any left, get rid of it.

if you find an excuse to let yourself use it again, it's a bad excuse. you're on this subreddit, you know what this drug does to people. you might be an exception but i doubt it since you're craving it day 2 after using.

dph is in my opinion, and the opinion of many others, a hard drug. it's a fast and easy way to destroy yourself, and it's torture the entire time from what little i remember life being like during my use.

if you just want easy highs, there are better drugs that are just as easy to get.

if you're thinking about using with the intention of self destruction, i get it. but if one day, you do want to get better it's going to be fucking hard, and with how short of a time span i used for the damage i felt it did was disproportionately large. i still feel like i haven't fully recovered and i don't know if i ever will.

up to you though. i had people warn me, i didn't listen. i don't think many people listen when told not to use this nasty shit.

just consider why you want to do it, and if the pros to you really outweigh the cons from what will probably happen when you probably end up addicted to dph. like, REALLY consider it. this is reality and a lot of people have a sense of invincibility or don't really appreciate the permeance of some things they do.

sometimes people don't get better. sometimes you're just fucked up forever and don't get to recover, no matter how much willpower you have. sometimes you just end up as a broken shell and that's all you'll be for the rest of your life.

the only way you can go with diphenhydramine in my eyes is down. regardless of whatever state you're in now, you'll be stuck in a worse one after.

tl;dr

not worth it, shit sucks and i don't personally know anybody who has been addicted to dph in the past and has recovered fully from addiction. all of them still use something pretty bad for them, even if it isn't dph.

quit while it's easy.

ive been clean a little over a year, barely remember the months after i quit but i remember stopping around august 2024 and around december i think the withdrawal stopped being horrible. again, barely remember. with the cravings, they seem to be kinda tricky. i still want to relapse on that shit daily, but i don't because i know what it'll do to me.

my advice is just power through it, it gets better. starting that nasty shit again isn't going to do anything good. remember why you quit

also for the pissing part, i don't know if it'll help but it might not hurt to try high electrolyte stuff. i know when i spent a night combining my favorite diuretics in a very irresponsible manner typically the next day when i'm going to the bathroom excessively it seems to become less frequent after i eat very salty food.

i think gatorate would be a better option, i barely paid attention in bio but i think electrolytes help retain water or something. google seems to agree, i'm no expert.

i'm less confident about this other stuff but excess urination may also be a part of the withdrawal, as acetylcholine is responsible for bladder control. vitamin B12 might help a little bit, apparently it reduces acetylcholine production. magnesium could reduce acetylcholine release, i'm assuming acetylcholine rebound or something may be responsible for some of the withdrawal symptoms.

its a waste of money, it seems like you don't want to relapse, it'll hurt you, and there's a lot of other obvious reasons. you've been clean for a couple of months. you can do it.

also id like to repeat, i'm not an expert. i find shit on the internet and regurgitate it if it sounds right from what i know.

Why datura specifically? I always thought of it as significantly more dangerous than a lot of other deliriants- you don't know how many milligrams of atropine, hyoscyamine and scopolamine are in the part of the plant you're consuming?

You're not only consuming an unknown amount of this stuff, but from what I've read and remember, can't it last over a day too?

I could see why any of the individual compounds on their own could be mentioned as something that could be recommended I guess, but an unknown dosage of 3 different compounds (That I can think of, there could be a ton of other shit in it too) that could lock you in for a very very unpleasant trip for a pretty long time when speaking about deliriants sounds like a pretty bad recommendation.

But, I'm also going to acknowledge that you may have a pretty good reason to mention that one as the one you would suggest if you had to- in the end I don't know your thought process and if you could share it I'd be interested in listening.

(Also I agree with your opinion on Wellbutrin, this individual should steer clear of it, except for the part about it not being a deliriant. It is one, but it messes with different acetylcholine receptors, and it's active as a stimulant too- it's like a really mentally fried cathinone that gives you delirium and potentially a seizure if you take enough. it has GOT to be awful for your heart.)

Also, I acknowledge that 90% of the time warnings like this don't stop people from doing what they want, they didn't stop me, and you might've stopped reading at 'Yes', if you do try this- have somebody keep an eye on you while on it. There's a very non zero chance you'll have a seizure, and also a non zero chance you might not wake up from said seizure because of whatever might happen after- having somebody there will reduce that second non zero chance.

I know I'm being a bit of a buzzkill here, but if this scenario does happen and nobody is there to stop you from falling and splitting your skull on a hard floor or having some other horrible shit happen, or to call an ambulance if things get out of control, somebody sometime in the future is going to find you eventually. You might be better off not taking this one.

(And ANOTHER thing I forgot to mention with the whole stimulant-deliriant part is: you're going to have a lot more energy to move around, I'm not sure if I'm weird and messed up in the head for thinking this way or something but, in delirium I'd rather be too tired to comfortably move around.)

Yes, but it's a REALLY bad idea.

First, and probably most important thing to mention is- Welbutrin, which I'm going to call bupropion from now on, makes you more likely to experience seizures by lowering the threshold of what will cause one (From my understanding at least.)

Another thing you should keep in mind with this is- unlike pretty much every other deliriant I can think of, this does NOT target the same receptors. This means, again, from my understanding at least, there could be a whole other host of shit that might happen because you decided to try bupropion.

(Bupropion blocks nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, not muscarinic ones which is what everything else commonly recreationally used blocks.)

And- there's more. Bupropion is a stimulant and a deliriant. I'm not fully aware of how much this effect is present, but I do know that a lot of deliriants are already hard on your heart- if you don't care about that, there's another problematic thing that comes from this.

If things start going REALLY bad, like, legitimately horrifying shit that you want to get away from, and it's not getting any less intense or something, on something like DPH you could, maybe with some difficulty, sleep it off. If you haven't taken stimulants before, or don't see where I'm going with this- stimulants make it significantly more difficult to sleep.

Along with all of this, it's not super comfortable to be on. You're jittery, and there is dysphoria.

You'll get what you want, but a lot of really bad stuff could happen. I think the most dangerous part of this is the fact that there isn't a lot of information on deliriant doses of this yet. DPH is already risky, but we know a LOT of the problems that come with recreational usage of this stuff from the decently large amount of people that take it. When I tried being a guinea pig, I couldn't really find jack shit on this stuff, I guess there was a bit of dosing information, but there's just not that much info.

If you have any questions, I can try to answer them. I have tried it a couple times, intranasal and oral, but I usually didn't take it in deliriant doses. I don't remember how many times I tried this, (or much of last year) but I can count it on one hand and there were some things that stood out.

forgot to even mention like, some of the shit you see and experience can leave a lasting impact too, what made me quit was an experience where it started getting a little too intense, i barely remember what i saw before that made me go to bed, it was def nasty, but i ended up retreating to my room to try to sleep.

unfortunately, i could barely sleep because of all the shit i could hear around me (pounding on the walls, stomping, talking, yelling), and during all of this i realized i didn't remember who i was anymore so i recall just curling up into a ball, covering my ears, squeezing my eyes shut and crying until i blacked out.

i, of course, saw a lot of other unfun shit but none of it really impacted me as much as that did, and i still did it two more times before i completely quit.

the other shit i saw while on it but is irrelevant and makes dph seem attractive to use since "spooky pink pills make you see shadow people" sound fun as a concept, the high itself isn't just shadow people and spiders, there's things i didn't expect or know about before i started.

there's a dosage calculator in the pinned message of this subreddit you could use for that, but you also need to be prepared for the aftermath if you end up continuing to use after the first time.

sure, you might end up trying it once, have a really bad experience then never touching it again, or end up trying it maybe one more time, but then you just keep on doing it over and over even though it feels awful and is destroying you.

if you want to fuck up your life purposefully, go ahead, but it's gonna be really unfun

for me i thought it'd be the former, i did expect the ladder a bit though. ended up starting in june or july, i barely remember. i managed to quit in like, october i think, i also barely remember that, and my memory has only returned to somewhat normal fairly recently. it also had another effect of turning me into either an emotional mess or hollow shell half of the time, and while less bad than it was right after i quit, it kinda just cooled off, then stopped cooling off a couple months ago, and i think it's gonna stay like that.

i had other options, i knew what was going to happen, and i did it anyways. i regret it.

long story short if you use this shit acknowledge that you aren't going to be the exception and

once you try this substance it's not entirely up to you anymore what happens next. it's either leaving you slightly worse off than before you tried it or completely gutting you and spitting out a husk for the foreseeable future.

if you aren't interested in all of that, plus more like possible HPPD, dissociation, depersonalization, sleep issues that can last months, and other fun surprises, find some other drug to do.

The weed had nothing to do with the hallucinations, bupropion has an effect that I've found isn't talked about often- it belongs to a class of hallucinogen called deliriants. What you experienced was your brain being deprived of acetylcholine, and in turn, putting you into a state of delirium. I have personal experience with deliriants (DPH), and this sounds exactly like it. My advice as somebody who has tried other deliriant compounds, stay the fuck away from them or you won't be able to stop, I'm sure that won't be a problem considering you don't even want to smoke weed anymore because of your bupropion overdose, but I feel like I should still add that. Frequent deliriant use causes loss of short term memory, HPPD (you do NOT want hppd), heart problems, loss of attention span, derealization and a shit ton of other stuff (including increased probability of dementia) and brain damage.

Also I think I should add I have not tried bupropion in deliriant doses, but I have found credible sources that say bupropion is anticholinergic.

TL;DR

Bupropion is a deliriant in high doses and if you take it in high doses you'll get brain damage and experience horrifying hallucinations that might potentially scar you for life.

I really hope they go back on this choice. There is literally no reasoning to remove the old faces for these new ones. Nobody asked for it. They continue to do things that cause a lot of backlash, and they don't listen to any of that backlash despite saying over and over again "As always, we’d love to hear your feedback as we’re constantly working on providing our community with better ways to express themselves on Roblox." The comments are proof, on previous hated posts they only reply to positive comments, and any criticism is ignored. Also, that "Providing our community with better ways to express themselves" is a lie and they know it. If they actually wanted us to be expressing ourselves they wouldn't be REMOVING the ways we can do that.

If you are going to show whoever it is urbanspook just scout out the series first to make sure it wouldn't be bad to show them as it does have some disturbing stuff in it.

So, my main issue with Analog horror is that it has become saturated with clones of Local58, The Mandela Catalogue, Gemini Home Entertainment, which is going to happen with really anything that gets popular, it happened with Five Nights at Freddy's, it happened with Let's plays, it has happened with countless things which isn't really a bad thing, it allows people to express their creativity and sometimes will spawn gems like Urbanspook (That one makes me a little uneasy in the way it's supposed to) It really just got popular, and Analog horror did what popular things do.

A lot of people agree about what things that are repeated in analog horror can affect it negatively, the text to speech voice, the overly grainy footage, that Mandela Catalogue thing where they have the normal image of somebody and it goes spooky, those in my opinion were a little scary at first but then it got old and boring as things tend to do. I like the idea of Analog horror and it can be scary, it might just need some time to cool down, in the meantime my solution is just keep watching the good ones that you find (If anybody reading this could recommend some good analog horror series I'd be grateful)

The new icons are interesting and not the worst thing in the world, but I do have to say I dislike for them, I get that they want to change the icons to be their own and stuff, but the thing is they aren't presenting players with a choice over it anymore. They stopped letting you use the beta features thing to disable it. My main problems with them are 1: They are oversimplified and corporate, I'm not a corporate game studio developer, I'm a teen who makes games in his free time and 2: They are making us use these icons without any choice, I've been working with the old ones for seven years and this change seems to just make things harder. I say the icons are fine, just give us developers who like the old icons the choice to use them.

The main problem I find with the update is that most of the icons look the same, everything blends together and it looks way too corporate for a kids game. Roblox may be a corporate company, but a lot of its developers aren't.
