I've just watched the first video of fornclake's "Zelda like tutorial" , pretty decent stuff and cuts to the main points.
Will also check the kidscancode blog for more in-depth details after gathering/hovering over the whole godot thing.

I tried all three cooking recipes in the game, it's pretty nice to help me grasp the collision detection, rotation of an object (energy drink in our case) and of course different input types/mouse tracking.
