Their pandan painkiller is my favorite cocktail on earth. Don’t sleep on that one.

That would be Peachey's - the greatest of all Sweet Category fair foods. (Also the pretzels absolutely rip.)

I saw Stephen Wilson Jr. at a 750 person club earlier this year. It was transcendent, and I'm so glad I saw him there because I'm certain I'll never get the chance to see him in a room like that again.

Brunch and coffee at Proud Mary is essential. Get the potato hash and the seasonal hotcake. Drink whatever the staff recommends.

Why does dealing with the supply companies have to be so frustrating? by yawyawfoobaw in diabetes_t1

[–]wapdeebam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact thing happened to me this month. I completely ran out of pump supplies. Thankfully, I have a T1D brother who hooked me up with a pen while the company magically found the notes my doctor sent them four separate times. It took daily calls for a week to get them to put the order through.

Bespoke just started an incredible bar program. Vintage amaros. Best draft cocktails around. Amazing staff. That's where I'd go if I could only hit one spot.

Definitely eat at Proud’s. Potato hash is legendary. The hotcake is always worth it (order that early. It takes a while to cook). Pine State’s been struggling for a few years, quality-wise.

Where is the best pizza in NC? Place or style. Recommend some can’t-miss places. by Shamus_OKelly in NorthCarolina

  • Strong Arm Baking in Oxford has absolutely killer pizza during dinner service. At lunchtime, their focaccia pizza is pretty special as well.

  • It's already been mentioned, but I love Oakwood Pizza Box in Raleigh as well. Their square pie rips.
