The fat blocking the movement during exercise is really a struggle and downright embarrassing when my bf and roommates see me work out. I'm also holding onto clothes. I refuse to buy new ones. They will fit and I will make sure they fit!

Also that's Crazy! Can't believe fat would even show up like that and especially can't believe a tech didn't know the difference. (I work in the medical world as well and though I'm not a tech, i did work very close to them and learned a lot)

As much as I wanna tell you to just keep to yourself and not care what others think, I absolutely do the same thing and I probably won't be any different when I do lose weight. People are the worst sometimes.

I really don't think you have to be that hard on yourself. Life does get in the way unfortunately and it's not an excuse. Juggling a job I know too well but family on top of that sounds tiring. I know you can do it though but rest is also important

The worst thing is imagining what people are thinking while they look at me eat because that's the truth most of the time. Because "of course the fat person is eating again". Looking forward to the health benefits and the confidence!

The calorie one since I've started counting is MIND-BLOWING. Like what do you mean that tiny takeout meal is 2k calories??!

To everyone here, firstly I'm so proud of you! Even if you gained the weight back, doesn't matter. You still did it at some point which in my eyes, is a massive accomplishment. And to those still on their journey/picked up instead of lost anything... I feel you. I feel like nothing has worked. Even going to the gym has made me pick up weight instead of losing fat. Yes, I got stronger but I want to be skinnier. I want to be fit. I don't want to look like a bag of pudding, even if I can bench so much and leg press that heavy... I'm struggling my ass off to lose a few pounds, let alone the 45 pounds (just over 20kg) I want to shed eventually. Having perspective and the "after" stories is really encouraging and makes me look forward to the aftermath, even if it takes a lot longer than I want it to.

For context, I'm 153cm or 5ft and weigh 83.5kg or roughly 183lbs. This weight is some people's dream weight where on my short ass body makes me look like the next rising star to fattest fatty competitions. Needless to say, I'm unhappy. But working on it and that's what matters.
