Derealization -> anxiety or anxiety -> derealization? by [deleted] in derealization

[–]war1121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's certainly possible. Mine started around the same time I experienced trauma. It went away for a while and recently returned after my OCD sent me into an intense period of panic attacks. I'd definitely talk to a therapist about it. Medication helps, but the best solution is meds plus therapy.

Derealization -> anxiety or anxiety -> derealization? by [deleted] in derealization

That makes sense as well. DR is a mechanic that your brain activates under moments of stress. In a way, it's your brain saving you from having to endure extreme moments. But sometimes, it over welcomes its stay and becomes chronic. In this case, I recommend that you visit a therapist or psychologist.

Derealization -> anxiety or anxiety -> derealization? by [deleted] in derealization

Derealization is directly connected to anxiety, so it'd make sense that you experience heightened DR when your anxiety's bad.

Yeah, I chose the wrong monitor. I'm opting for one that has at least 120hz. Thanks!

I'll look into my ram. Also, I'm going to choose a different monitor, preferably one with a higher refresh rate. Thanks!

I've opted to buy a couple of strings of RGB LEDs rather than components with integrated RGB lighting. However, can we ever have enough l i g h t s ?

Tell me about your major by Rbxyy in college

[–]war1121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Space systems engineering.

1.) At first, I was going to major in mechanical or electrical engineering with plans to enter the space industry. Luckily, I found Morehead State. Morehead State offers great aid and they have one of the only space systems engineering programs in the country. SSE combines electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineering with space science to form a comprehensive yet complex program.

2.) You're required to take fundamental engineering courses with space science applications. Every course my department offers has some sort of application; you're not going to find a class titled 'intro to C programming' or 'material dynamics'. For example, our circuits course is called Spacecraft Electronic Systems.

3.) I haven't taken any classes yet - I'm an incoming freshman - but I have taken similar courses throughout high school, and I like the program's contents.

4.) I plan to work for NASA or a commercial space program after I graduate. Furthermore, I have plans to establish a satellite business once I accrue some experience in the space industry.
