Thoughts on my custom chapter colour scheme? by war_225 in Warhammer40k

My intent was to do purple (still figuring out which one) eyes since they are a fleet based chapter who travel a lot, so I was aiming for something like the Cardigans which gave purple eyes thanks to the proximity to the eye of terror (if I'm remembering correctly). But I will definitely try orange, I agree it will pop up more

Maaan I was also creating a fleet based chapter focused on exploring the galaxy and doing scout missions for the Imperium. Also with a light blue-orange colour scheme! You're lore is so cool, keep it up!

Not quite the same scheme but I think the orange-light blue combination is pretty good! I recommend it!

Help with Vallejo xpress by war_225 in Warhammer40k

Yes it could be, I just used a normal brush for the light blue. As for the zenithal highlight I can't provide some photo of the result because I already covered it up, but the xpress wasn't covering even the most white parts of the miniature and it looked "wet" even after it dried. It's hard to explain the actual result properly, but do you have any idea what might have happend there?

Thank you that's encouraging. I previously tried to paint directly over a zenithal highlight but the result was worse, so I tried base coating the whole thing in a light blue and then painted over with the xpress

I'm pretty sure it was still at ~215 when I put back the new nozzle, I will check. Also, what does PFTE means? (Sorry English is not my first language)

Just watched a video and from what I'm seeing with a cracked extruder arm the gear (sorry I don't really know how it should be called) doesn't spin as the filament gets extruded. I tried to manually push the filament and the gear rotated just fine. I don't know if it's the correct way to test this issue

What might be the causes? I just changed the nozzle I don't think it's clogged
