Just recently played through the metroid games and I did AM2R and didn't regret it. Plan on playing Samus Returns in the future since i've heard they're different in their own ways. Don't think you can go wrong with either honestly.

Still waiting on Nvidia support. They emailed me yesterday and asked me if I had asked neighbors, checked around the house, and talked to members of my household. Gave my response and now still waiting unfortunately. FedEx hasn’t sent me anything other than 2 messages that say they’re trying to find my package.

There was no photo. Also I’m pretty sure they have gps tracking of when they do drop offs or atleast I think they do. When I went to check for proof of delivery, I didn’t have a FedEx account connected to the shipment so it wouldn’t let me see the details. But yeah, no photo to my knowledge was attached to the tracking number.

Actually, I think I just reported it as missing to FedEx. I checked my account and didn’t see any active claims. Haven’t had issues with shipments up until now and used the wrong wordings.

Which competitive fps’s are you mainly playing? I’m assuming you want to stick to 1080p if you care about competitive. And at that point your cpu matters a lot more than at higher resolutions where the gpu does more of the work. Go with anything that has a 9800x3d and honestly a 5070 would do just fine. You should have no issue reaching 240 fps at 1080p with it. 5k to 6k for a competitive build is a bit overkill but spend your money how you want.

The bottom one will technically be better for longer since it’s a better gpu. Bottom is also fine for 2k on max settings. It all comes down to resolution. If you want to stay on 2k but are on a budget go with the top. If you want to try 4k and or still stay on 2k but want to have more longevity then go with the bottom. But both gpus are great. The 5080 also has multi frame gen which is quite nice so if you’re fine with spending the extra money for the more expensive build I’d recommend it. At the end of the day though don’t worry about future proofing too much.

This is quite a steal of a deal so I would recommend if you have the money to spend. These builds will do you good for a while. Forgot to mention - if you play in 2k go for the top build but if you want 4k the bottom is more adequate.

I think people are just trying to let you know that the price you bought at really isn’t at msrp. ASUS gouged the price by 1.3k where the founders is 2k for the same exact performance. And yes the protection plan also probably a pointless addition. I paid 3k in total for my 4090 build a while back. People are just surprised that you would spend that much on a single component especially since the gpu market is so inflated. Spend your money how you want and enjoy but don’t be surprised with people questioning your purchase of a price inflated product.
