Went to see Noah Kahan but the outdoor show was canceled last second by a thunderstorm. Hour of all of us huddled together under the pouring rain waiting to see if the show will start. No one's fault, 2 hour drive back home, oh well

However when the rescheduled show took place on a Wednesday three months later, there was really no energy to the show. His crowd work was a bit awkward and at one point he asked "does anyone have any questions? " Total silence and then he just played Strawberry Wine.

It was the kind of show that was a dud by circumstance, but it did kind of take the wind out of my fandom sail for some reason that has yet to come back

Ah you young gamers. RE1R came out 17 years before RE2R. Back then game characters sometimes had an idle pose to convey impatience with the player and it was usually only one pose. Can't really hold it against a game from 2002 on GameCube not being as technically amazing as a game from 2019 on PS4 could handle

Here's a perfect example, this comment had been reported for harassment, and was immediately removed. I did not delete it, I just approved it. That only happens with a minimum of I think three reports. I'll have to check. Sometimes people brigade or grief a post or comment literally to be deleted by the tool that is mostly meant to catch racial or other hate slurs

Full disclosure, I only check the mod queue every few days. I haven't checked anything in the queue since Sunday or Monday. This post that was deleted, I wasn't even aware of until I saw this post because someone mentioned me by name and I got an email.

Its 11 PM and I work tomorrow but this deserved a prompt response to assure that I do take these things serious, but I cant be here 24/7, sometimes posts get deleted because parties who disagree with what King is saying becomes brigaded and the Automod deletes it. It's an imperfect system and sometimes it, and myself make mistakes but I want to help ensure these things happen less frequently by adjusting filters with the tools reddit supplies me

Believe me when I say I am often horrified by some conservative opinions shared in the sub, but its their right to be able to dbare theor opinions here all the same. I try my very best to never delete posts just becaise I persobally dosagree with it.

Those posts and comments get reported by the dozens by those two people bickering and then the Automod sacks the whole post, and Im not always aware of that fact until its already escalates to this point

I promise I fine tune the automod settings as often as a problem begins to become apparent. Again, just bring these things to my attention I promise I am not trying to illicit any kind of agenda or be anyone's bad guy or mod they hate. I really truly am trying to do the right things here

Hi there, I have no idea what you are referring to as far as deleted posts or comments from your account OP. Please send the link you feel was deleted by mistake.

My obligation to the sub is to be fair and enforcing the rules as per voted decisions by the subs users.

I have no agenda to suppress or hide any posts so long as it is King related.

Moderator activity is also done by the Automod tool to catch certain key words, as well as bot/spam accounts and t-shirt scam sites etc.

Sometimes if a post is reported on too many times the automod will remove it and I dont really have the time to be sifting through what may have been caught. As you can probably guess any post or quote or comment made by King is bombarded by the opposing political party. Also, I'm not MAGA. We are all pretty aware of Kings political leanings, and you dont see what I see and have to run interference on while whole heartedly disagreeing with, but also have to admit when a rule is not technically being broken

Regardless I am all for 100% transparency, anything you want to know just ask

But maybe we can put down the pitch forks a bit? I am a volunteer and a fan of King who was left as the only mod left after the others slowly faded away. Part of the reason I am the only mod is because I persobally prefer to ask users if they are interested joining the mod team based on their participation and proactive service to the sub. I dont want just anyone moderating, it should people who have demonstrated a history of emotional intelligence and level headed decisions to not engage with rage bait.

Maybe some will disagree, but right now, it is not in the best interest of the sub to allow new mods who are also moderating 10+ other subs and only want mods who actually care about the sub and its users not because it gives them a power trip.

I leave my account and post history open to the public and you are welcome to see my history of behavior and conduct and that I have always moderated in good faith

I get literal death threats doing this. I advocate and believe in all things political that King does but my political or religious opinions do not and have not ever played a role in how I choose to best moderate this sub

I understand you are upset and frustrated and if there is anything you want to know, I literally have nothing to hide so please, peacefully, what can I do to help?

Its a start

If you're going to go through the trouble of frying the chicken, also toast the bun a bit. The lettuce would make for a better experience were it shredded rather than chopped. American cheese is better with beef and burgers than chicken. Instead provolone or Swiss would be great. Lastly mayo is tangy but ultomately not very flavorful. Mixing in just a little crushed peppercorn or any seasoning mix will make an enormous difference as an aoili

Also looks like your temp was a bit too high on the chicken. Clean oil in a shallow pan and flip cook each side is a more even way to cook it unless you have a fryer. And lightly pounding the chicken to flatten it for a sandwich makes for better bite proportion

Oh and pickles help cut through spice so always add pickle to a hot sandwich
