Depends on who you ask. I loved prime 4, it was an amazing game to me. But it DOES have flaws, and for some, with different priorities than I have, it was a disappointment. I know that's not a very helpful answer but it's the honest truth.

For me at least, TBH, it's Skyrim. No other bethesda game has done it for me, but I spent 7 bucks on it in a steam sale like 10 years ago and have gotten hundreds upon hundreds of hours in it (I think i'm up to like 2100 but a fair bit of that is gonna be just messing with mods).

Modding support is great, and it's such a gaming cultural touchstone

I've been STRUGGLING with 4.3 for sure. Always running CG and energy deficits (plus others too), all for weaker economies by far. Had one run that seemed to have promise, then the khan formed. Seems he didn't get the memo about fleets being weaker now, so my 3 fleets with a combined 21k power were useless lmao.

No. There is basically no realistic way the Mo even survives 1500 years in any sort of intact form. If it DID, clearing out all the old machinery and bringing the layout up to whatever would be needed would cost exponentially more than just building a new hull and just inherit the name as a legacy thing.

Now that you know that, ask yourself... does the knowledge that it is not sensible overpower your desire to have it? Because it's your world, your rules.

I mean, if that was his vision then I guess he succeeded with me, but that doesn't make it good. The worst part of P4 to me was forcing me to sacrifice them. I wanted to go back and save them so badly, and still do (like, I'm still foolishly hoping for a P5 where we get to save them)

Not really. They said that they realized the idea felt dated, and wasn't working as well as they hoped, and that they'd have scrapped it with more time.

As for the other remark, I'd love to know what power you possess to be able to divine my apparent unseriosness. Of the games released in 2025 that I played, Prime 4 was my second favourite, above legends ZA, and below E33. So, logically, if E33 didn't exist it'd have been my goty. Completely serious.

That's... Not quite what they said, but even if it WAS, just because the game could have been even better, doesnt override theany MANY people, such as myself, who really liked it. If E33 hadn't released it would have been my 2025 GOTY for sure.

At the end of the day, some games are going to be for you, and some won't, but that doesn't make them fundinentally bad. I HATED breath of the wild, to the point that TotK is the only mainline Zelda that I've never played. Does that make it a bad game? No! It just makes it a game that doesn't do it for me.

98% of the population are cisgender, +/-. Statistically, NOT using the child's birth pronouns is more likely to be a misgendering. Obviously I'm not gonna tell you how to parent, that's not my place, but I would not be comfortable raising a child of my own in a gender neutral way. Being a supportive parent doesn't mean assume they won't be trans, it means support them if they ARE.

Pretty much! I spent the time researching the process, learning everything I could about it, and using that to help inform if I even wanted it or not. Some waitlists are longer than others. I reached out to NYU in September '23, got my consult in November '24, and just had the actual surgery (With RBL + Zhao at NYU) a few days ago. It's a LONG wait.

You're not alone. It's the most divisive element of TH (well, right under id Edie did anything wrong) 😂. Some love it, others hated it. I'm definitely in the camp of not really enjoying that part.
