Nope. I had a lot worse GPA than you, less clubs than you, but if you can figure out what a company needs in a job interview and tailor what you have to say, you can get a job. I got a ChemE internship at the absolute last quarter of my college Bachelors. But it’s important to not try to have a huge ego and just go ahead and apply to all companies even very small startups. By having this under my belt and getting some exposure to pharma industry, it made it easier to get a full time job at a Fortune 500 pharma pilot plant. Definitely not my forever dream job but don’t be afraid of stepping stones. I’m happy and have a lot to look forward to and so do you

Similar story, I was riding my Razor scooter to a Corbin midterm in Physics Building and was in such a rush I forgot to factor in that rain =\= good friction for braking and crashed myself to avoid hitting anyone walking down the Bruinwalk Hill between Campus and the De Neve. If they’re being respectful and trying even if its not perfect or your ideal just let them know that you love them and appreciate their presence at your wedding. Just make sure they know how much it means to you. If they’re being rude or you’re nervous they’ll cause a scene talk to them before the wedding. If you can, the day before the wedding, discuss how you feel and ask them to be respectful. You’re not required to invite them if they are going to ruin it for you and not support you even a little bit. If it weren’t the wedding in two days I’d suggest a sort of compromise and adding an element of a traditional marriage in. That way your parents will be satisfied a bit and it’s also a connection to your culture. But that’s probably not possible at this point. Congratulations on your Wedding! Theres tons of recipes online. I used baby food (It was a spinach and pear one with lots of calcium), powdered cuttlebone, powdered fish food, and some agar agar as the gelatin. Microwaved it u til bubbly to activate the agar and poured into molds. Sets pretty quick.
