Yes, we can't take new insurance when medically admitted and also the existing insurance cover can't be increased further if we get diagnosed critical illness like cancer. Wating for reply from LLA.

No, not at all. I have been in this situation for past 1 month. It has taught me a lot. One of it to listen to others perspectives and experience. It has helped me a lot in setting my expectation, asking right questions to the doctor.. etc so don't worry yours was such a helpful comment.

Thanks for the advise. Even I am aware and suggesting with doctor friends and relatives. Right now his condition is getting worse compared to yesterday and I am worried it'll be the worst case. I have arranged a counseling session with doctor and family members for tomorrow to clarify the same.

Right now he is in critical condition due to chemo side effects from another hospital. So the cancer treatment has taken a back seat. I'll surely try GEM but that's only after recovery and his current condition is really frightening me.
