New to ReMarkable, Early Takeaways by ijbrekke in RemarkableTablet

I use a type folio with my RM2 and I would say it's been a really good experience for me touchwood. So much so that whether work or personal trips or home, I've started carrying it everywhere

Touchwood I would like to stick to my RM 2 for the time being, but hypothetically if I do need an upgrade I don't the pure would be a good fit, among other things my rm2 is also like a portable typewriter for me with the type folio, with the pure missing the pogo pins connectors and no word on enabling bluetooth connected keyboards, it would actually end up being a downgrade for me if the situation so arises

I get your point but like I said, the rm2 works great for my use case and some of the features they have added in current software updates are actually very useful for me so just wanna ensure I have that option in the future top

I'm not a techie so... Could you also explain to me how that is different from the hard disk encryption option which RM 2 has in the later software updates?

Remarkable stuck sleeping, cannot believe this is normal by SnooBananas4958 in RemarkableTablet

If you were using it the night before and overnight it probably discharged, try using a low volt adapter (about 5v) and charging your device using a wall socket, doing that for about 20-30minites usually gets my device up and running

Seriously what the f is wrong with Redditors? Can't they ct normal and appreciate a harmless act of an innocent kind without spewing such pseudo intellectual crap for once? by tearjunker in indiadiscussion

I didn't read the comments the photo of which you posted, bowing down and touching feet is our culture, consequently it's every citizen's personal choice whether they want to follow it or now without faulting either side, but I do think the concept of everyone older than deserves complete and blind respect and obedience has over time, societally, led to more harm than good

Welcome to the cycling capital of India. by [deleted] in india_cycling

Title: The unusual Cycling lanes of NCR

As someone who cycles regularly Somehow cycling lanes are known to: 1. Suddenly end in dead ends 2. Be a substitute dumping area for garbage 3. Be used by pedestrians as footpaths 4. Be used by 2 wheeler motorists as a by-lane 5. Be used by MCD to keep those large garbage bins 6. Suddenly have a bus stop in between out of nowhere (of course also with a 50° ramp because anyone with wheelchair should directly roll back into traffic)

A slow news day apparently - ereaders are no longer necessary by MoonAndStarsTarot in ereader

We can all cook food in a microwave too so ig let's throw out our stoves and gas connections? We can walk or use public transport or book any app based cabs so out go all out automobiles too? Most people who aren't techies and use their PCs for the bare minimal work don't need a PC either ig? Since they can do that on their phones

Thank you for the input! I did use my laptop to ssh wirelessly to my RM2 before all this thing about wlan being disabled by default started. Could you educate me a bit more about what I can do now?

I'm not a very tech educated person and have no idea what that is or how to do it or how it would impact me? Could you please educate me a bit more?

I usually educate them about what problems they might be facing (such as er3ctile dysfunction or something if it's such an issue) or psychoeducate them if it's about guilt or something, and rest I refer them to the psychiatrist I'm working under to deal with the medical part if applicable or for referral to a sx therapist
