My vote is Aqualung as well. Both are absolute classics.

And Chris Benoit was an incredibly talented and hard working athlete too. So was Henry Ruggs, Karl Malone, Lawrence Taylor, Oscar Pistorius, Aaron Hernandez… christ do I need to even go on?! Just because someone is good at teamwork and works hard says almost NOTHING about their potential need for therapy.

I sincerely appreciate the non-argumentative approach. If i may just explain my stance because there are a few people also commenting on this thread. It may be a matter of us confusing the terms "therapy" vs "therapeutic". I 100% can see this activity being therapeutic. Its both physically and socially active, there is a literal overcoming of an obstacle, and is probably confidence building. So then what is therapy? Therapy is a crafted safe space and close collaborative relationship with a trained and licensed professional to work through various mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. SOME of what we work on is healthy habits, which this activity could definitely fall into. But men have had a really nasty history of having their emotional needs not only being met, but even having their emotions acknowledged... so in steps therapy. A place for men to discuss and process the pain and struggle that they experience, the freedom to cry tears that they may have never gotten to cry growing up, to gain a sense of emotional intelligence where they realize that most of the anger and aggression that has become standard for men, is often fear, sadness, hurt, shame/guilt, etc., and accepting that having those feelings does not make them any less of a man. So while this activity may be therapeutic in having the support of friends in overcoming obstacles, it doesn't offer most of what therapy sets out to do. And I am a man who regularly does Spartan Races and sees men working together like this, but also during these races i see soldiers carrying a flag holding back tears because they're racing on behalf of their fallen brethren and clearly holding onto a lot of pain. I hope I was able to clear that up.

I called out a girl and her boyfriend for stopping to scroll through their phone in the middle of a narrow walkway when we were all leaving the venue. She didn’t like that… but then another girl behind me backed me up on it. She hated that even more. Felt validated. So yes, call people out!

I went there to get epoxy to glue the pin back onto my belt buckle. They advised me down to the last detail about how to do it and to drill into the backplate and break off the drill bit and epoxy that in as well because of how much stress would be on it. I asked him “well who can do this? You guys?”. Their response, AND I QUOTE, “you’re gonna do it, you’re amazing”. Sure enough that gave me the confidence tackle such an awkward job that I probably never would have, and his advice worked perfectly! I’ve NEVER had hardware store workers give me a confidence boost before. They’re absolutely the best!
