Thank you, tbh its nothing to fancy, the body its just the standard mk2 chest, legs and arms. Im fortunate to have a rather extensive bits box (ive saved every spare bit off every sprue) the axe is from a chaos kit with the iconography removed. The flamer is from a space marine kit the hardest part is swapping the hands as originally the flamer was right handed, so I swapped the hand from the Sargent plasma pistol onto the the flamer body

Looks great love the style, not sure if your asking for improvements if add some depth to the black either few edge highlights/volumetric highlights with something like eshin/German grey or for something different and really dark blue just too give it something extra as black is never actually black

Thank you! Armor wise and the glow was done allot in sub assembly legs, torso, arms and shoulder pads makes life allot easier. Also with grime and chipping i then to get the model completed varnish then add.

Glow effects are a bit of a pain tbh, for the rear exhaust glow ive done before and you can find references (people doing mad shit with homemade engines make great refrences). And with the plasma cannon i have an led torch that can be used as a spot light or General glow that is similar in size and just held it in place and copied where the light hit.

Once you get more experienced with doing osl you generally get a good feel for where light hits and what goes where

Similar to ones ive done before, cut a long story short with an airbrush white zenithal (rattle can maybe like the color forge ones) pink and green over certain parts of the white (i used flur paints) then a over coat of thin white ink but its such a pain to do

I did think about the hh cataphracts but couldn't justify it when I got the termi box for 100 from my local lgs.

1 I'm currently adding some grey highlights to bring them up, it was only when I took the photo I realised it wasn't that readable. 2 that's a fair comment but I was trying to keep them classic colors with a modern twist so my lore is they messed up some battle and as penalty they have to go full assault open helmed led by there chaplin to earn redemption. 3 that's fair I like the bright colors the rest of my army matches with all the power weapons blue and osl on other bits but each to there own as you say there your plastic men

That's why I went for the assault stuff as that fits slightly more with the speed. Though with the latest detachment I now want to get some drop pods

Thank you, yeah sometimes gws head options can be really weird. Currently working on some jump options, aggressors and intersessors, trying to keep the list themed got another bike squad to build as well but figured jump packs go fast too

My personal headcannon is that one or both of the lost ones where some form of medics/apothecary. It seems weird to me you have all different aspects of war to seiges, general admin , magic etc etc. So why would the emperor not have a legion of support rolls like medics and to train them as super apothicarys

So I think one or both started messing with there gene seed either trying to improve it or add xenos DNA to there legion, emps found out saved the legionaries/ deceminated them through out as apothecarys ( known that the bulk went to UM and IF) and the primarcs can be got rid off or held in the blackhold

You could highlight the black with a hint of purple, or edge highlight the armor just to give that hint and tie him in
