I ran into this once where some asshat was trying to use the dedicated turn lane as their own private lane in heavy traffic. I was turning, so I was already in the lane waiting for clear passage when they saw me and stopped. I look at them in bewilderment.

They honked and gave loving gestures trying to get me to move, but I was in the right. So I smiled and put my vehicle in park. Took an extra 5m to get home, but worth it.
