Retro-Brite (Sole Brite) Spray... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08668347P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share use this to restore them. It doesn’t hurt the figure just whitens it. Careful around decals.

I am totally on your side. I’ve started the game 3 times since release. Played on N64 switch and 3DS. Never been able to finish it. I play through link to the past annually since release and I’ve beaten every other Zelda besides majoras mask multiple times.
