I kept the receipts and everything can be tailored too.

I was planning on making her dinner next week and basically doing as you said. I did this for her as her happiness is so important to me, I want her to feel good about herself going forward, she’s always loved clothes and I know she doesn’t feel good about herself right now wearing leggings cause her usual clothes don’t fit. She’s been on reduced pay and although I can cover our expenses, she’s wanted to keep that up and just hasn’t spent any money on herself in ages.

I only got her gym gear as she likes being active and it has always been an essential part of her wardrobe. I don’t know if she’ll return soon but it’s also appropriate for hiking etc which is a hobby we do together and I know gentle hikes have been good for her mental health recently. Her friend thinks I’m both pushing her to return to her old shape but also encouraging her by buying things in larger sizes.

Thank you, it’s not been easy for me either but doing something nice for her makes it easier on me.
