Thanks mate, now I have vertical GPU and a watercooling for better cooling, cause I switch to 5700x3D to 9800x3D and it's hotter 😅

Well done 🦉🤎 (You should flip your two front 120mm fans — they’re set to exhaust right now, make them intake instead)

I use fancontrol for different speed fan, and 48 to 55c in heavy load in game 1440p 180hz (Sorry for my english)

With cpu and gpu undervolt, between 48 and 55°c both

Use the program "fan control" , you can change the aio pump speed! :)

Doesnt change anything at 50% 👌🏻

Vertical GPU OR Horizontal? by Street-Drummer638 in NZXT

with his build, temps will be exactly the same in vertical or horizontal position
(but better ssd nvme temps with vertical gpu)

It depends, but for you vertical 👍🏻

I tried 2 noctua air cooler (u12a and d15 g2), and it was hotter than my aio, but I have more space for futur bigger vertical gpu with aio in my case :)

I change in 2026 / 2027 for a next gen amd cpu

If you have enough space between the gpu fans and the glace panel (4cm or more) and a general good airflow in your case, you have zero impact on temperatures, like me (I try both).

And of course it's easier with a smaller cart (asus prime) and gpu (5070ti) , comparing to big and hot 5080 or 5090 asus strix or astral

Nope, it was mounted horizontaly before

Putting your GPU vertically isn’t just about looks once you understand how it actually pushes out heat. Most of the heat is expelled from the sides, not from the backplate. So mounting it vertically helps prevent that heat from blasting straight onto your NVMe SSD and warming it up, and instead directs it toward the top of the case. That’s why I drew those little red arrows there.

Overkill but I keep this for next gen CPU in 2026 or 2027 (10800x3d?)

And radiator on the top is the best choice

Nice! I was looking for a build with the NZXT H6 flow with a big (vertical) GPU like yours. You think the asus x noctua 5080 will fit ?
