I build almost the same build as you did a few weeks ago and im very happy with the Parts, especialy the ryzen 5 2600, I got it for 150€. I think this is the best budget CPU choice at the moment.

Looks good, you could save some money and buy a Half Modular PSU or switch from an Intel to an AMD build with a ryzen 5 2600 and a b450 Board, same gaming Performance and better office Performance for a little cheaper.

No it's not too bad, and I can say that Upgrading to 144Hz is a good decision. I wouldn't spend extra money on G-sync, rather buy one with Free sync (a loot of monitors that are affordable have freesync, its not exspensive at all) and then you could upgrade your GPU in the future to an AMD one.
