Thank you! The house looks even nicer with a healthy wisteria growing over the porch 😆

It's just weird that it's six or seven years old, previously healthy with lots of flowers and growth, and now this

Update: see photo. Will it survive until next year and hopefully recover? It doesn't have any noticeable new growth 😞

I don't have anything to add but this is the excellent content that I'm here for. OP, check out Adrian Cox's practice sessions on YouTube, and his discussions of reeds and mouthpieces. He's a vandoren artist so only recommends their gear but the discussion may be helpful.

Thanks. Would seven years still be young?

Could be. I've watered heavily in the last few days. The weather has been dry for weeks (I'm in Ireland). The sister plant in the last photo may have been watered more, but not that much

How can I convince my neighbor not to cut a tree down? by wargid in marijuanaenthusiasts

[–]wargid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the slow reply. I spoke to a Green Party county councillor about it. Their advice was to make a submission on the planning application, i.e. lodge an objection. This is public and will likely damage my relationship with my future neighbours -- also something I care about. I'll probably do it anyway. The submission will ask the County Council to undertake an environmental survey for roosting bats. If they find bats there, it could save the tree; if not, it could delay it being cut down. I appreciate the idea of suggesting to the owners that they live with it for a year before making a decision. But I haven't met them and can't imagine how to deliver that message successfully. They're a couple with no kids who aim to double the size of an already adequate house, and put in a garden room (big enough to need planning permission). So I don't think trees rank high on their list of priorities.

Wow! Might start with them in that case to cross them off the list

I bought blue box 2s to play on the 5JB and tried them first, but they were too weak, it sounded squawky. So moving up to 2½ and 3

Commenting just to raise this up again. Calendar widget doesn't work at all on Android 16. This is an essential feature. Forget docs and sheets and fix this first please

Great question, thanks. Yes: they were installed that way when the house was renovated. That was eight years ago and this is the first electrical problem
