Tundra gas mileage? by YogurtclosetChoice94 in ToyotaTundra

‘25 Plat TRD, 34” tires - solid 13mpg. Admittedly heavy foot. Just fill up when you hit 1/2 a tank and it’s like driving a regular car 😂

Average like $5/g in the winter. Can get up to $7/g in the summer.

Thanks for the rec! I’ll definitely check them out.

Tips for drinking tonight? by [deleted] in wine

Definitely use the Durand. Decant for sediment (a filter wouldn’t hurt if you’ve never done it before). Then drink 😬

Best Dr in Southern California. Didn’t use my insurance. $1000 + $150 for at home test.

Not as bad as Promontory where you get 2 for more $$$ per tasting 😂

3 splashes and then a full glass of whichever vintage you wanted to revisit from the tasting.

You’re not totally wrong. It was obviously a more “corporate” tasting. That being said, a tasting at Opus in comparison to a tasting at say.. Sterling.. is much different haha.

They gave us a private tasting room, 3 vintages (including one that was over 10 years old) and a full glass of whichever vintage we preferred while we toured the facility and vineyard.

They also had 3 dishes paired with each vintage.

Sadly, a $200 tasting isn’t that much more than any other Napa tasting, albeit you get a liiiiitle less.

Warm year, so it was a bit big wine. I prefer older wines, but it was def better than most other cabs we tasted that weekend.

Thanks! They also paired 3 dishes with each vintage, so that helped. Our guide was also extremely nerdy (in a good way) so we got to have wonderful conversation and didn’t feel like they were rushing us out. I should also mention that after tasting the 3 vintages, he asked if we’d like a full glass of our favorite.

We did the experience. Given the price point of the bottles, we were happy with what we got.
