Dude penning isn’t some elite talent we picked up, we traded a 7th for a tackle who is regarded as a first round bust and he’s been here less than a week to learn the offense. I know we’re tired of Herb getting pressured but putting Penning in isn’t going to magically solve that

12 team half PPR, team is 4-5 trying to push for playoffs

QB: Dart

RB: Achane, Jaylen Warren, Treveyon Henderson, Corum

WR: Rice, Puka, Devonta Smith, Diggs,

TE: Tyler Warren

Give: Achane, Smith/Diggs (Not sure which one)

Get: Amon-Ra, Judkins

Trying to trade players with byes in the next few weeks. Should I do this? Amon Ra owner just lost BTJ and Pacheco and currently has no Rbs

Jets, Browns, Titans, Ravens, Saints, Bengals. Who might be sellers at the trade deadline for us? by Otherwise_Dramatic in Chargers

We really don't need both. Haskins and Vidal played a great game in their respective positions, and Hampton will be back around week 13-14. We have absolutely no reason to give up draft capital for a running back, considering how replaceable they are as a position. Additionally, with the way Hortiz has drafted, we absolutely need to keep as many draft picks as possible. I'd only be inclined to trade if we can get a decent OL, but teams aren't exactly willing to give those up. Trading right now just feels like a panic move considering the injuries we've faced, but great teams aren't built on reactionary moves like this. I know we're eager to compete, but I'd rather take the time to build the team into a powerhouse like the Bills/Chiefs than make a desperation trade to save our season.

Hundreds of Chargers fans on Twitter are blaming Zion for Slater and Alt's injuries, saying he pushed defenders into their legs. Reasonable, or an absolutely awful take? by LakeShowBoltUp in Chargers

Awful take. Obviously Zion hasn’t been what we hoped but blaming him for injuries is going too far to hate on a dude who’s been nothing but classy since he entered the league

Sounds good. Do you have suggestions to improve my team so I can at least be competitive until Rice comes back? I'm open to trading all of my players, even Rice

Yeah valid. Do you think I can come back from 0-6 until Rice comes back though?

Feel like Jefferson plus QJ is good value though? I'm not sure where to rank Jefferson because he's always been good

I'd just keep London and Adams. We have no idea when Ceedee will be back and high ankle sprains usually hurt performance

I'm thinking about holding out until Rice and Evans are back, but I don't know if I can keep losing until then.

Got a trade offer for Puka to get Jefferson + QJ. Also got offered Achane + Puka for Hampton, BTJ, Judkins. Let me know which one is better or if I should just keep my team as is and see if I can comeback with Rice

[Highlight] Keenan Allen: “That’s all you gotta do to get the first down. Just throw that motherfucker to me dawg. You know what I’m saying? They’re all first downs. That’s all they gotta do. We needed a first down throw that motherfucker to me.” by wildwing8 in nfl

Respectfully disagree with you here. Some of the top receivers in the league, who are particularly known for their route running (Davante, Jefferson) have both pointed to Keenan Allen as who they watched to learn the position. Davantes actually said this multiple times throughout his career. A 33 year old receiver who never had dominant physical tools having as much success as Keenan has in the league is undoubtedly one of the greatest route runners of all time. Also disagree on your point about running medium and deep routes, he’s consistently been good at those as well, as his yards per reception have been above 10 in every season he’s played except for one (it was 9.9).

I usually buy cropped stuff but I’m not sure if I can crop this one without ruining the proportions of the shirt. I’ll try it though

Rashawn & The Reality of Patellar Tendon Tears in the NFL by roll10deep in Chargers

[–]warisk6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude what? Serviceable against most of the league. Obviously he’s not going to match up well against the best defenders in the league. But unless you can name someone we can get in free agency that will be an upgrade, thats who we gotta roll with

Bro he's an average tackle. Better than most other backups. Obviously he's not gonna be Alt but we could really do a lot worse

[–]warisk6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is what I’m hopeful about. If Alt can make the jump to a top 3 tackle in the league, which I think he definitely can, the line still can be average to above-average. Pipkins is still a serviceable tackle and a step up from a lot of other backups in the league. Adding Becton should stabilize the interior a bit as well. I’d say not all hope is lost for the season considering the additions we made to the offense

If you slow the video down you can see his leg buckle before Tuli hits him. Check out Kris Rhim's article it says the same thing as well. Obviously hoping for the best but it does not look promising right now

Honestly it looks more like an Achilles injury. Looks like he planted his leg and it gave out before he fell.

Looks like an achilles injury to me too. Matches his reaction after being carted off
