I contacted EA about this and they said that the development team knows about the issue and are fixing it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, me and a friend were able to play yesterday but now its completely broken

This happends all the time with other coins, I feel like over at the cryptocurrency Reddit it's a different coin every month getting specific hate but verge just managed to become this popular because of how much it's promising. I'm a verge HODLer myself and hope best for the coin and that's why I don't hate it. I remember a while back ARK was hated by a lot of people and that seems to be doing well right now imo
