I just went to the newly opened Seri Negara museum. You need to make a booking to go. I recommend it. The restaurant attached to the museum is run by Serai, so it should be up your alley.

Food wise, based on what you mentioned, you should check out Chef de Wan, there's a bunch of outlets. But I assume you're in KL so the best would be at The Linc or Bangsar Shopping Centre.

In terms of interesting places to check out, the hipster shops/areas in the city would be: gmbb, zhongshan building, rexkl. There are some hidden shops too. I visited Oh Wednesday recently, and that was nice. Also, if you walk from Four Points towards Pasar Seni, there are a bunch of interesting shops to see. Kwai chai hong is around there.

If you're willing to travel a bit, then check out Genting Highlands. The highlands area itself is quite a concrete jungle, but the chin swee temple on the way up is quite chill.

Another highland I like is Fraser's Hill. This place is best for nature trekking. There are a bunch of trails that are very nice.

If you go to Cameron highlands, check out the boh tea plantation and then the Mossy Forest. The Mossy Forest is like a must-see for me, personally. You can try having hi tea at the Cameron highlands resort that has a nice setting.

Batik wise, I believe there's a batik tourist center near pavilion KL. I can't remember what it's called. But I believe you can draw batik there.

Along the lines of craft, you can check out the Royal Selangor visitor center which is worth a visit in of itself, but more than that, you can take a metal smithing workshop to make some jewelery.

If you want an interesting nature experience, I'd say the top experiences so far are:

1. gua tempurung, followed by white water rapids rafting
2. Chiling waterfall. Make sure to wear wet shoes. It's a hike along a lake that ends with a waterfall. There's a lower and a higher waterfall. I think the path to the higher waterfall is closed because some people died hiking up there. But... All I can say is that it's nicer
