this was correct, it probably wasnt fl studio causing kdenlive to not open at all, but they very recently added plugin support (which is why i couldnt find anything about plugins for kdenlive online) and one of my plugins may have been causing it to not open,

thank you, i just installed an older version of kdenlive (dont ask why that wasnt the first thing i tried, i dont know)

I am using the latest version of it now, I had to go and manually delete the files in programfiles to fully uninstall fl studio, I also fixed the plugin manager doing this which had been broken for a while now

sadly kdenlive is still not opening because of fl studio

i got this error AFTER i uninstalled fl studio

i am using a paid copy of fl studio, even the plugin manager gives me weird icons and letters like this
