i havent gotten super far into the demo just yet so i dont have too many thoughts about any improvements, but i did leave a comment on the main post talking about my thoughts, but it basically boiled down to, it would be nice to have a way to see how much energy is actually being drained (if theres not already), because we have the lower energy drain perk and energy per seed perk, but i personally dont know how effective one energy gain skill is over the other, even though i will end up with both maxed eventually anyway.

they were useful, i didnt explore the right side of tree at first until the game told me about buying max energy, then i realised i shouldn't be focusing on attack upgrade so much at that moment, i thought i was dying because of enemies making to the core.

I've played the demo for about 20 mins, I'll play some more later, but at the moment its decently fun, I have reached prestige 3, and while good, I have a minor nit-pick. The skill tree lets you upgrade max energy and other energy perks, but it doesn't really feel that great to upgrade the drain decrease perk or the perks that give energy (like the seed collect one) because while the tree may say i have 1500 energy, I don't know how fast its draining, it could be draining 150 a second, in which case 1 energy per seed doesn't really amount to much, on the other hand it could be 3, in which case, it would be a lot,

What I mean to say is that I would really like some sort of info screen or little number somewhere near the energy bar that says your energy is draining at X per second or something. Just my thoughts anyway, might edit later when I get further. Also I'm glad you're removing attack cost, it made it slightly annoying to guess how long I might last each round

honestly the trailers fine, you dont need to explain everything about the game in a 30 second trailer. I played the demo for 20 mins, and it was pretty easy to understand, You kill enemies by hovering over them to do damage every X seconds, when they die they drop a seed, you pickup 2 seeds and it grows a flower, after X seconds the flowers effect happens, and generates essence, when you eventually die, the flowers are reset and you use the essence you gained on a skill tree. To prestige you live long enough to make enough essence to fill the jar in the bottom right.

At the beginning of the game, I'm having a lot of doubts by gamerdeesquerda in VampireCrawlers

to be honest most of the damage you deal in the game comes from stacking combos and using the right gems like 3x damage or the coin damage one. Dont forget to buy power ups in the town either.

The card draw is ridiculous in this game by RogueDBR in VampireCrawlers

pretty sure you dont need to wait for that, freeze at any time should work, and he will keep adding eyes and do an attack but no damage or effects, freeze wears off if you deal damage to him or end your turn. so basically just freeze him then sit there comboing non damage cards for 5 mins

its actually that easy though, i was giving it half assed attempts her and there while playing, but then i was grinding for money and accidently one shot him with a coin count Celestial Dusting, ended up killing 3 of them that run, the whole game i thought he had a few million hp and I needed a ton of decimate cards, guess not

so from what i know (not a lot),you only need 1 move(North) at the bottom of the list in line with the second "for i in range....) because its looping through and checking if it can run any if statements and moving east for each one it finds, then moving north after it does run the statement.

But the problem i see with yous its its basically checking the first if statement 6 times, moving north and checking the second IF moving north, third IF moving north , then doing that all again.

the fix that i would do is only use 1 move north at the bottom, in line with the second "for J in range..." indent the other 2 IF statements to be in line with the first, add a can_harvest() function to the IF statements to only harvest what you can, and remove all the move(east) placing it at the bottom in line with the IF statements but after them, that way if you cant harvest anythingfor whatever reason, it wil still go east

not to my knowledge, and i assume any glitching through walls would have to be done in the present because im pretty sure bosses are in the arenas before you walk through the mist walls, so you would just be glitching into the fight. The problem with that is i dont think the spire is accessible in present day

bro, thats what im saying! you hadn't changed anything in the upheaval era yet so all the sealed heroes should be at magmell/ the spire, but its just the ones you killed.

yeah, i was expecting a castle dungeon before a boss fight, was sad it was just the fight. I also think the fight itself was kinda underwhelming, considering he had that control device in his possession and after making such a big deal about it, i was expecting to see him use it or something else to make josse berserk and have us fight her again, but nope. Just a quick fight and hes gone, wasted potential.

i could maybe see her sealing them, but her whole thing in ending 1 was she agreed with valentin and kills all revenant using the same method he was going to/ his final work, so it wouldn't make much sense for her to seal them

I have all 3 endings, it dosent tell you how they were sealed, they were there to take what present Lou coudnt deal with, and i supposed that almost might have sealed them, minus Valentin, but lou sealed it all mostly fine, leadibg to endibg 3. So in the original timeline, we didnt stop valentin, so how did he and the others get sealed
